  Night started out great I paid for my original bill $65 even gave $10 tip total $75 and went back and sat with my party then we decided to order wings we ordered 2 orders of wings. We received 2 plates of wings everything was going good. Walked up to pay for wings and the bill was $75 I saw 3 orders of wings and 2 pitchers of drinks. I explained that we only ordered 2 wings as there was still only two plates in from of me waiter got an attitude and said no I’m wrong I have to pay. I wasn’t going to argue anymore I stood up and just walked out left my half eaten wings and left. I was not about to argue when I showed him my previous receipt.

  Another of my many visits to Botanas. The service and food was excellent as always. One of my favorites is the chicken enchiladas mole (poblano). I think they have the best mole sauce around. Went during lunch this time. Not very busy and the food was brought out in about 5 minutes after ordering. Super fast!

  Atmosphere is great. Servers are welcoming. Food is good. Nice place to hang out. Very affordable.

  Large venue with lots of seating. I was there on a night when they were playing a Green Bay Packers game in the bar area and there was a diverse crowd enjoying the game. My food and drink was fine. I would go back again.

  LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! The drink are amazing!!! They give you sooo much food on your plate. impossible to finish it all alone. YOU ALWAYS HAVE LEFTOVERS. I do wish the parking was a little bit better but at the same time they have like 3 parking lots just for their customers so I complain. The staff are great, the food is great, and the drinks are better!!

  I absolutely love this place. The margaritas are the bomb dot com. The staff is also always friendly from the time I walk in until the time I walk out. Great Milwaukee staple and my favorite Mexican restaurant!

  I can't say enough great things about this place. The food is always amazing, the staff is super friendly, and you always feel like you are at home. The drinks are also great to. The ambiance very lively, and I always enjoy being here. This is a must-see in Milwaukee!

  Fantastic food, fabulous service, roomy & decent prices!, not to mention the frozen rainbow margaritas!
  We couldn't have picked a better place for a college graduation dinner celebration.
  The staff didn't hover in an overbearing, nor did they ever disappear for extended periods.
  All of us from out-of-town & those that lived locally had the best graduation dinner get together ever.
  We're do thankful our college grad chose Botanas for his graduation dinner.
  My wife & I now wish Botana's had a location near us in Indiana!!

  Great place for everyone! I started going here about 11years ago when it wasn't so popular, and the food, drinks, customer service was great! I started going with my ex boyfriend and I for drinks and dinner, than later brought my kids, also came with my mom and dad, and can't forget the girls for girls night out! I love their margaritas! And their chips and salsa is the best I had in a long time. And grew up with REAL Mexican and Asian food, so if some people think its a white/Hispanic food joint, its only because about 4 years ago they hired new cooks to accommodate to people's taste. You can ask the waiter or waitress to make it a specific way. I went so frequently that 7years later when they became popular and handed out buzzers to wait for a table, that as the new waitress was about to hand us one, the other waiter saw us and told her that we didn't need one! Than he pulled a table out from somewhere and had us follow him to the outside where he set us up close enough to be waited on fast but with candle light and perfect scenery! Made us feel like some special V.I.Ps in the restaurant world, lol. Felt a bit sorry for those people who were waiting before we got there. But it shows that our loyalty to them paid off. I guess in short I say they're still a great restaurant and to anyone who has specific tastes for real Hispanic food, just ask the waiter. They will make your food how you want it. And that in itself should tell you to give it a try.

  Fantastic! Got here at 6:15 on a Friday night and was waited on, served, and out the door before 7 pm! Excellent food. Excellent wait staff. Particularly, Orlando was on his game. Drink was low, BAM.. refill. Chips were gone, POW... more chips. Nice job and thank you.

  Love the food here. Always large portions of great food. Lunch specials are more than you should eat at 1 seating for a reasonable price.

  Only one negative experience over many visits. This is a very large place that is typically busy. They have a nice outdoor area that is recommended. You can get real margaritas made with lime juice instead of the "pre-fab" mix. Ask for the spicy stuff if you really like it hot. Take advantage of the parking lots, but bring cash to tip.

  I'm a huge fan of authenticity and this is a place to check out if you want authentic Mexican food. It's fresh and the Margaritas are delicious. Higher end price, but the food makes it worth while. I will be returning

  I had heard a lot of good things about Botanas. However, I've been there multiple times and the food and service get no better.
  
  The food is inauthentic. The corn tortilla tacos came with shredded cheese and lettuce that more than likely was bagged. The enchilada sauce straight up tastes like it comes from a can. A cheap can of enchilada sauce that has no taste.
  The service is poor. They don't really listen to you and barely refill drinks. Everything about Botanas tastes like it's old and just as low quality as they can go for a sit-down restaurant.
  
  Go here if you don't care or know about authentic Mexican food and don't mind a step up from Taco Bell. If you know better, avoid this place.
