Hello Grand Haven: We have been receiving many requests for information about the start of this years market. The market is changing managers this year so there will be some delays in our opening (May is typically very slow). At this point we are not yet accepting new vendors. When new vendor sign up begins, there will be a note posted to this site to let you know how to go about getting a booth and the rules for being a member. Until then, we appreciate your interest and your patience.
Nothing says back to school like good tie dye. Wide Eye Dyes (red tent along the Pennoyer side of market) has everything from the sublime to the psychedelic. Stop by the market today and make sure you are ready for fall.
It's Market Day at Bolt Park!! (4pm until 8pm at Bolt Park). It is getting hot outside but not as hot as tonights band. This week, WAWL radio sponsors their free "Sounds of Summer" music program with artist, "Dave Palmer and His Only Friends. Music starts at 7:00 pm and runs until 8:30pm. Dave started the whole Walk the Beat Charity and has been a pillar of both the local music scene and the community. Spend time with friends and neighbors exploring this wonderful local mar...ket. Farm fresh produce (3 different vendors), baked goods, jewelry, precision cut metal and wood products, tie dyed goods, birdhouses, crochet fashion, decorative magnets, handmade soap and lotions, Avon, creative handmade owl backpacks for kids and more. Stop by and meet local children's book authors and have them autograph their work as a unique gift for your child. All this and more. Make it an evening: walk the market and shop for produce and unique items, then sit back and enjoy the music. We'll be looking for you.
See MoreWe have been getting numerous requests to sell at the market. Please follow the directions in the pinned post at the top of the page. Thanks

Just to let you know, about 10 or 12 vendors came despite the weather so if you need produce, jewelry, bird houses, tie dye, baked goods or other hand made items, stop by Bolt Park. I love these vendors. We shut down because of the weather and the still come out. WAWL is setting up for tonight’s concert; Van Mason.
While the weather radar shows a break at around 3pm, a second front is about an hour or two behind that. With sadness and apology, the Bolt Park Market will be closed for today. Some vendors may show up if their merchandise is not affected by the rain, but we are officially closed. The radio station says that they will decide around 5pm if the music is still on. Drag.

It was a beautiful evening at Bolt Park last night. With school out, the vendors were out in force. Here are images of some of what was available last night. Sorry that we did not get photos of everyone but have a look at the variety.

Meet the Vendors 2018: Upon arrival at the market, one of the first faces you see is Bonnie. Bonnie is our Magnet Magnate, making colorful, creative magnets. Sports teams, Disney princess's, creative sayings and more adorn her very affordable creations. This booth is a favorite stop for both children and adults (I personally have 6 or 8 of them). Let Bonnie's contagious smile, brighten your Tuesday afternoons and her magnets will brighten your home.
