Love this place, my 5th great grandfather was killed here in 1782. Really cool museum and love the idea of renting a room or cabin on-site.
Not worth the money for the king size bed room, The shower curtain is stained and disgusting, The walls need repainted. WiFi is slow, the tv is the size of a monitor and only a few of the channels actually work. Buffet was way over priced and so is the room. Not worth the money. The pop machines didn’t work and the ice machines were off for the season. Next time we will travel the extra 20 mins and stay at a nice place in Lexington.
Very clean, restaurant is fantastic. The staff is wonderful. Would recommend 100 percent.
Very nice park. Accommodations and Buffet were great. Pet friendly !
Nice campgrounds. It's not to big. Plenty of sites with electric and water. They also have some tent sites with no amenities. The guy at the check in was great. There's bathrooms, showers, and laundry facilities. The park has a museum, pool, lodge, resturant, and giftshop not to mention a history lesson from 1782. The resturant was good. Food was good, the service was slow but very friendly. Just relax and enjoy. The hot brown was very tasty, I enjoyed every bite.
Nice and clean. Very friendly. Internet only at resort not at rv campsite. Small rv camp but very nice.
We love to go to blue licks battlefieldstate park. The museum is good. Lots to see. Great restaurant.
Second time stayed at Blue Licks (more than 4 days each visit). Good price and with large rooms and bath area. Tile and grout need good cleaning. More than just a place to sleep, pool area nice with pivilion's in park. Nice secluded area with relaxing activities. Really really really need small refrigerator and microwave in each room, trust me there is plenty of room for it. A nice 55" TV mounted on the wall would be very nice too, would pay $100 a night if added, would definitely be worth it!
Fantastic everything! We were evacuating from Hurricane Irma and the staff bent over backwards to make our stay as easy as possible. The Cottage (302) was perfect for our needs. Two bedrooms each with 2 Full beds were clean and comfortable and more than we were expecting. Due to a combination of 2 families evacuating Florida, we had a menagerie of animals (1 90 pound dog and 6 cats). The staff didn't even blink an eye and wanted to help! The back porch looked over the Licking River and a hiking trail which was scenic and still private. It was a great place to wait out the monster storm. The Lodge has an amazing restaurant which we utilized frequently. I can not rave enough about the fried green tomatoes and their southern fried chicken! The staff in the restaurant was fantastic and Monica and Ada were the best!
Note: we did not have any cell service while on property bowever, the Lodge offers free WiFi and is open 24 hours. There were landline phones in the rooms for communication.
I attended a wedding at Bluelicks Battlefield. The wedding was outside and the reception was in one of their lodges. The food provided was wonderful and the wedding was beautiful.
It's a very simple place and everyone camping there is nice. I had a few beers and enjoyed my time with family and friends. Met some new people as well.
Fantastic small state park that is clean and friendly with a nice sized pool and short family friendly hiking trails. Museum is excellent and the annual August reenactment is one of easiest accessible ones for small children and the elderly or handicapped! My large family loves it.
We ran across the park&museum on a random drive. The museum was a neat little experience, the gentleman running it was very friendly&informative. The park and surrounding area is beautiful, very peaceful. We'll definitely be back.
We stayed in the lodge over the long weekend for a family reunion. Service was wonderful and the buffets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner were filling and tasty. Would definitely recommend it to anyone and go again if we are in the area.
