The food is great, but the employees are jerks. Don't have people join your table after you sit or they will be rude. We had two friends join us right before our food came out and the jerks tried to make our friends sit at a different table. Our table had plenty of room. We ate slower to make a point! We will not return.

Unfortunately, I was here for a couple of days and my family and I were looking forward to breakfast at the Blue Heaven. Needless to say we had a terrible experience with the service they provided. We arrived at 11am on a Sunday morning and the hostess stated the wait was an hour. We agreed to wait since the reviews were 4 to 5 stars. While we waited we had some mimosas. An hour passed and we approached the hostess to inquire on our table and he stated he meant to say 1 to 1 and 1/2 wait. We were disappointed but decided to wait since we had waited an hour already. Another half hour passed and we again inquired on our table and this time he stated we would be next, however, that was not the case. Another party was seated while we watched. When we complained to the same hostess he stated they had been waiting for 1 and 40 minutes!! We asked for the manager while the hostess continued to express his attitude regarding our complaints. After all of this madness we decided to walk away and not give Blue Heaven not one more second of our time nor our money. I hope they realize with one unhappy customer comes less future customers!!!

Brittney and Peter at the inside bar took great care of us. Shrimp and grits portion was smaller than I'd say is 'nornal' but it was great! Had a Hendricks Gin Summer Mule - also delicious, even in the winter! Limited parking, and a wait seems like it could be the norm here. Great atmosphere.

Amazing food. Best breakfast ever. Breakfast BLT was insane and the banana bread was heavenly. Breakfast shot of cinnamon toast was a great start to our day while waiting for a table which took about 30 minutes. Prices are very good for the quality of the food you get. Most of us had lobster for breakfast and it still was under $200 for 8 of us. Whole key lime pies in gift shop for $30 and were the best tasting pies we found on Key West. Made me wish I lived there so I could eat there all the timeWould give it 6 stars if I could.

Good, but not great. Definitely not up to all the hype we read about. The atmosphere was probably the best part. Our server didn't seem too friendly not attentive. The food was above average, but sadly nothing to write home about. But it was nice that they had live music for breakfast time!

After a long day walking around Key West and laying out on Fort Zach beach, we were lucky to of stumbled upon Blue Heaven. This gem is tucked back under huge banyan trees that enclose the entire outdoor eating area, giving it a relaxing tropical vibe. The specialties are Caribbean, seafood and vegetarian dishes. I highly, highly recommend the lobster and scallops. Enjoy!

Great food and service. We had the shrimp melt and Andy's grilled cheese both were very good and the key lime pie was a step above. We had a couple of the signiture drinks which were enjoyable but not over powering. It was a enjoyable lunch looking to trying breakfast.

Great ambience. Live music and Sunday brunch are the highlights. Service was great and so was the food. We had avocado omelette and BLT (Bacon Lobster Tomato) Benedict. Huge portions!! Great Cuban coffee.

Great atmosphere - quirky, fun, awesome outdoor eating! Great live music and dog friendly! Food is well prepared and flavorful the appetizers are a little small - but make up for it in quality and taste. A little pricey, but the atmosphere and quality are worth it! Definitely recommend!

Great place to have lunch with a nice island vibe. If you like sitting outdoors (in a courtyard), don't mind a rooster or two walking around, live music, and good food, check this place out! They have fans to help keep it cool, so we were actually pretty comfortable on a warm day. There is a small bar so you can grab a drink if you have to wait for a table and you can likely enjoy some live music while you wait (there was a solo guitar player singing while we were there during lunch). They don't have a ton of selection on the their menu, but what they do have is pretty good. The Loaded Black Bean Bowl and Burgers were good, and the Key Lime Pie was great! We tried about 8-9 different pies on our trip to the Keys and this was the best one! So if you are in the area and looking for a good island place for lunch, check it out!
Positives: Nice courtyard, live music, good food, roosters roaming around.
Negatives: Roosters roaming around. :) On a really hot day, might be uncomfortable.

Impeccable service and great food. I have been to Blue Heaven several times and am never disappointed. I had the Yellowtail Snapper which was cooked perfectly and was absolutely delicious. My better half had the shrimp meal which also was absolutely delicious. The server's are very attentive without being intrusive.

If you have some time to enjoy brunch and hang out (which you should - you're in Key West!), then check out Blue Heaven. There is a bar with delicious cocktails and friendly bartenders, a ping pong table, a collection of local, affordable art for sale, live music, and a shop to buy souvenirs. The omelets and avocado toast are delicious and filling, and the atmosphere can't be beat. A pretty traditional breakfast/brunch menu with some welcome surprises like crab cakes. Sit outside (I'm not even sure if there is indoor seating) and take in the beautiful weather and awesome ambiance that is Blue Heaven.

You have to come here, no matter how long the wait is. It's that good. Live folk, acoustic and jazz music daily. Awesome breakfast lunch and dinner. Try the Eggs Benedict for breakfast and the pork tenderloin for dinner.

We ate at Blue Heaven last night, came in without reservations, and the hostess was a bit rude towards my wife and I. We were informed it would be an hour wait unless we wanted to go upstairs, I am very glad we took the opportunity. We had to wait maybe 3 minutes and were seated at a nice table where we could still hear the live music.

Kristen H was our waitress and let me say, she made our visit AMAZING. Suggested all the right things, was super knowledgeable, and just a pleasure to have serve us.

We started with the blue velvet margaritas, and the scallop appetizer, both of which were to die for. My wife had the pork tenderloin and I had the surf and turf (with lobster medallions which I highly recommend). Everything was cooked to perfection and taste was awesome!

The place is very laid back beach feel with live reggae playing, I wasn't expecting the experience I received when walking through the door. I will be back, and I hope Kristen is still there.

Wonderful pace with great atmosphere. The decorations around are things that you will like to look at. The artist working here in the back was nice and his small paintings were very affordable. He specializes in chickens as they wonder key west. I bought a small sun painting that said 'here comes the sun' on the front for $30. The live music and outdoor bar mixed with the fun and wonderfully made decorations makes this a place to see in key west.
