  Today I came to Blooms, like I've done multiple times before, to buy flowers. First let me start by saying the florist was absolutely rude. She acted as though my walking in the door was an absolute inconvenience for her. When I was able to catch her attention and explain what I wanted (she still got it wrong mind you) she then began complaining to a co-worker that she just had to have a cigarette right now and that people needed to start tipping her when she delivered flowers because it is a "service" she is providing. She then went on to complain about every order and location of each delivery while botching up the flowers I requested. She did a horrid job, ran her mouth non-stop, and basically behaved as though I wasn't even standing there. I will NEVER go here again! I purposely asked where the past florist was and when they stated he had left for a position elsewhere I realized then that this place is now going into the dumps. I won't waste my money here ever again!

  Blooms isn't just a florist (though they're a good one) it's also a boutique. Stylish clothing, home decor, lotions, body scrubs, soaps, Ale 8, Bourbon barrel foods, cards, candlesthe list goes on. Who knew, right? The people there are friendly and it's sort of like a wonder land, every time you go you see something new you have to have.

  I try to gives businesses the benefit of the doubt & not give a negative review based on one occasion. Unfortunately, this is more than once I've been unimpressed by Blooms. I used Blooms for a holiday dinner party the flowers in multiple arrangements were falling out of the vases & had to be rearranged when the driver delivered them. The "special container" leaked which required finding a platter of my own for the container to sit on as to not ruin our dining table. This also required watering arrangement multiple times a day to keep flowers alive. Most recently, my husband has flowers delivered to my office from Nantz & Kraft weekly. Due to holiday week, they hired Blooms to complete & deliver the arrangement since we live outside of the Louisville area. This arrangement is not near up to standards of N&K. The roses & hydrangeas are about a 1/3 the size of the ones used in a N&K arrangement. I would advise evaluating the arrangement in person before purchasing.

  My first visit at Blooms was to purchase a flower arrangement for my wife for our 20th wedding anniversary. The price, which included delivery, was fair and reasonable in my opinion. Delivery was as scheduled. The flowers were fresh and vibrant and looked good for several days. Most important my wife was surprised and happy!!

  We are a local business that always orders from Blooms. Also, my husband and I order from Blooms personally and we have always loved the arrangements they provide and their friendly service. Their store is wonderful as well.

  I've used Blooms several times and every time I have been happy with what I received. I love the country wildflower look and always has the selection I'm looking for. Always picked up so not sure how their delivery works..
