Caught my PB largemouth at this lake. There are plenty of big bluegill for the kids as well. Great place to go if you don’t have a boat as there is a clean pier with lots of room.

Great park. Just know it costs $2 per person (or $4 per car). Only thing missing is a dog park! Build that and I would easily buy an annual pass.

The park itself is nice. The amenities for camping were well maintained. Excellent play structure. And if you are into frisbee golf, more than one 18 hole course. The only downside to the park which impacted us while camping was the noise from the turnpike. You get used to it, but it would be nice if a sound wall was added by the Turnpike authority. Cabins are also available; we were in a tent.

This was a very nice park. I came for the Orlando renaissance Festival that was being held there. I loved the layout of the park and that the price for parking was not that bad. I loved how big the park was and excited that it had a campsite area. Will definitely be going back again.

Love coming to this park. They have 3 different disc golf courses and all are uniquely different and challenging. They have many different activities throughout the year also.

We race dragon boats here. Lovely park but the fire ants are horrendous. Not sure if anything can be done about them but it does take away from the park. Otherwise the park is a beautiful spot.

Went to play disc golf. It's 2$ to get in so everything is well maintained. The woods, is a difficult course, at some places it feels like you are just throwing randomly through the woods but the T2 course is awesome.

Here's a runner's review. I went for a jog here twice while visiting Orlando on business. The first time, I did 2 laps on the 2-mile trail, and the second time I parked a mile away so that I could do 6 miles without running more than two laps.
This park is very beautiful and well maintained! I was there between 8 and 9 on weekdays and it was not crowded at all. There is plenty of parking, and if you are the only one in your car the entry fee is only $2.
The trail itself is paved, only a little bit hilly, and has many areas of shade. It runs by the lake, through wooded areas, and through fields by the Frisbee Golf Course. There are plenty of places to stop for a sip of water, and several bathroom buildings that are quite clean. It's a great place to try for a PR if it's not crowded.
For a longer run, there are retail business with parking lots at almost exactly 1, 1.5, and 2 miles away, and those stretches of Hiawassee and Conroy roads pretty nice for runners.response / report this review -

I come here often every weekend morning to jog with family. Great park for the family to hang out at when it's not raining. Beautiful lake view and grill areas. Hawks, cardinals and other birds in the area makes it great for novice bird watching. 😄

This is a well maintained park with ample facilities around the Turkey Lake. There are six fishing pavilions, plenty of fish, lots of cleaning stands, grills and picnic shelters. There are several children's playgrounds, a children's farm, a well maintained swimming pool and a cute little nature trail. Extremely family friendly and very, very peaceful and serene. Boats and kayaks are available for rent but they have to rented out between 7am-11am. You can also rent bicycles at the gate. It's a very beautiful and easy cycling trail.

Just awesome!!! A little zoo for the kids to pet!! Three playgrounds and beautiful picnic and hiking areas. Not really for dogs since pets aren't allowed in most areas and so far I haven't found a doggie area. You still can walk it around though.

Any park that goes out of their way to create a drone zone is okay with me it could be a little larger there's a group of trees within the flying area and a pavilion. It could be a little larger if you wanted to set up some gates. You do need to pack everything in as it is a walk from the car to the Flying area. The staff is friendly and helpful, also I have attached 3 photos of the flying area

First time visiting and I must say I'll come back here if I need a place for an event. The security was on point. They were always on patrol looking out for who needed help. One time, two of our young teenagers were missing, and the park rangers helped us scroll through the park looking. They stayed with us till we found them. Darn teenagers left in a van with the cleaning people from our event and did not inform their parents. They came back safely.

This park has 3 playgrounds a few yards from each other. For tiny tots, toddlers & bigger kids. The lake is beautiful. Some do fishing here, hopefully throw them back. There's a nice pool, a small farm & plenty of tables/grills for picnics. There is even an area for RV's to park. Oh yes, and canoe rentals. Very nice place! You can have birthday parties here!
