A beautiful mountain range with a variety of trails for every level. Anyone from families to experienced hikers can enjoy the Bigelow Range. Also home to many nice amenities including beautiful free campsites. A great weekend get away to camp alongside Flagstaff Lake and hike in these beautiful mountains.

Super excited to see the Bigelow lodge open this year. I think that people underestimate just how much people look forward to being here. This place is one of the few icons of the area and does not get the attention that it deserves. Thank you JV wing club for stepping up to the plate! Truly appreciate your efforts here!

We had an amazing hike across the Bigelow's. As tough a hike as mount katahdin in my opinion. Loved the views of Sugarloaf!

Classic Maine hiking along the Appalachian trail, exceptional views along all of the well marked trails. Several backcountry camping options here when the thru hikers aren't around

Beautiful hiking with great trails and views. Plan a 2 or 3-day hike, and bring your fishing pole to catch some brook trout in Horn Pond.

Absolutely breathtaking views in a remote area of Maine's legendary wilderness. Plenty of camping that can be accessed via car, backpacking, and canoeing. Great hiking trails, majestic waterways, and soaring mountaintops define this beautiful preserve. Worth the trip!

Intermediate/advanced trails. We did ~20km to one of the summits and it was breath-taking. You hike through 3-4 different type of forests, including an alpine (moss-covered) one near the top. Some of the trails are part of the Appalachian trail
