  Pleasant helpful staff. Good size tired-looking room. Mattresses definitely at end of life. Clean and quiet. No hand-holds in the shower but tub not slippery. Surrounded by construction, no amenities in reasonable walking distance. Shuttle to Metro. Breakfast: good coffee and OJ, the hot food mediocre.

  My wife & I stayed at this location this past weekend for her birthday and we enjoyed our stay. We are from NJ. The room was spacious, the beds and pillows were comfortable. The hotel is beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly. If I am ever back in this area again, I will definitely stay at this location. I always prefer the Best Western over any other hotel.

  Visited DC with my husband and grandson. Stayed here for 4 days. We had a king suite with separate bedroom. The room was the perfect size for us to relax in. My grandson, he is 10, said the pull out couch was very comfortable. It was really nice to have 2 TV's. The shuttle service to the Metro station was extremely convenient.

  Stay here every time we visit Bethesda. It's very convenient, allows small dogs and rooms are comfortable. Their breakfast is better than most and dining staff are always very nice. Front desk staff usually very nice, too.

  Overall, not a bad place to stay. I found it clean and quiet, and for me on that stay, that is what I needed. I did not find the front desk staff overly welcoming, nor did I find the breakfast filled with items when I went to dine. In fairness to the staff, it appeared as though a school group was at the hotel, and they might have been simply overwhelmed with the work. I found the maid service staff to be friendly and helpful. It would be easy to give this hotel a five star rating if the staff was a bit more welcoming. But, all things considered, I give them a solid 4 - 4 1/2 stars and just assume that I arrived on an off-day for the staff. Note: I stayed on a Friday into Saturday in November 2017.

  The place was top notch. Employees were the most helpful and friendly bunch I've ever met (and I'm canadian!). They seemed to particularly like my 7 month old daughter. Room was clean and noise free. We took the metro into Washington DC for which they had a shuttle service. I'd definitely stay there again.

  I am sitting in my room now and there are about 25-30 flies inside between the window and the curtain. Where are these flies coming from?? I called housekeeping and they sent someone up to spray. Pretty disgusted to say the least. Aside from that, the hotel is very old and dated. The pillows are very uncomfortable and need replacing. Considering moving to a different hotel tonight. Would not stay here again!

  Nice lobby, friendly staff when checking in, breakfast was fine, room needed tlc. Stains on rug, wall paper peeling, 1 outlet didn't work and flies in room. Killed them every day but they returned by night. Have stayed in Best Westerns before and liked them. This hotel is in a great area and I would stay in it again. Just need to spruce up the rooms and get rid of the flies.

  Very hit and miss for me. Rooms are dated and in desperate need of a touch up. Feels very worn. Thermostat I think is older than I am. All of the staff was incredibly helpful and sweet, busboy to manager. They helped me figure out the metro system to DC (we don't have those in Texas). Breakfast was fine, but on paper plates and plastic silverware. I expected a bit more. Coffee was weirdly good though for hotel coffee. All in all it was fine for the steal I got it for and I didn't feel unsafe traveling alone, but I wouldn't stay here again without a big update.

  Check in was fast and staff was courteous. Hallways and room smelled clean. Room was very nice. Breakfast was well stocked with a variety of foods. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

  If you're looking for a hotel right off 270 just outside of DC, for an extremely affordable price, look no further. The lobby is clean and very tastefully decorated, and the employees are both very fast with check-in and extremely knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The rooms are a little older, but they are comfortable. The wifi can be a little iffy at times. I stay here every time I come through DC.

  We needed a simple, inexpensive hotel for 3 nights when we went to visit family in DC, and this hotel was perfect for us! They have complimentary coffee available at all times in the lobby. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and their breakfast was great! They served a full breakfast - eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, yogurt, waffles, etc. The dining area was kept clean and the staff there were really nice. Overall, the only complaint I have is the location, but I knew we were a little far from DC when I booked it. There was a great shopping center about 5 minutes away though, which was helpful, since it had a target, khols and restaurants. The hotel itself was pretty quiet and they had a lifeguard on duty the whole time the pool was open. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

  I stayed for about 3 1/2 days here, and I have to say the staff was really friendly and nice. Rocky really helped cheer up my mood and she was really helpful. Would recommend staying here if you want breakfast in the morning, peace and quiet, and great staff. As well as housekeeping did a great job cleaning my room.

  The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast food was very extensive and tasty. We also thought the room was clean and up to our standards. We appreciated receiving a group rate for our room as a part of a large party visiting. I also give 5 stars for the service we received after our stay - we left something in our room & it was quickly found & mailed to us. Thank you!!
