Very nice Best Western hotel. It was very clean and the staff was extremely pleasant; even the ones who got stuck working on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
The breakfast was very good, and the spaces neat and clean. The hot breakfast was varied each day with either scrambled eggs, omelet, or fried, as well as the meat variety. Very tasty.
It was conveniently located right near the highway exit with other shopping amenities close by.
I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit the Dayton area.response / report this review -

The hotel staff was friendly, but the room fell short. The whole place smelled like a hospital to the point that I sprayed the bedding with perfume and went to Meijer to buy Yankee candles. When we asked for more pillows they looked for 15 mins and still couldn't find any, something I've never experienced at any hotel. We still made the most of it and had a good time, and had the staff not been so friendly and apologetic, I would have been more frustrated than I was.

Nice property especially at its price point. Front desk was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was great. Didn't have to eat lunch later in the day.

Clean, affordable, placed close to needs in Dayton. Rooms were clean, quiet, and well maintained. Staff are great. I recommend for business or family.

Just passing through on the way home from a holiday. Lobby was clean even though there was huge dustpan left in the reception area just in front of the desk. After we checked in and got our bags to our room it was still there when we went out for supper. I had a discount coupon on the cost of the room and the clerk failed to deduct that upon our arrival. The manager at the desk when we checked out did correct that for me upon departure. All in all..a nice stay.

This hotel is just like home away from home.
From the friendly front desk wecolmes you in. Great clean room and a new great breakfast.
The GM is always walking around making sure your stay in the BEST !!!
So if traveling though Dayton. A must stay at. Hotel.

I come to Dayton at least a couple times a year for school. I stay for a week or two at a time. This Best Western has a good breakfast, very helpful and friendly staff, and rooms I have been comfortable in for the duration of each stay. There was one time last year when the heating/ac unit in my room was not working. The staff responded immediately and helped me move to another room where I was made comfortable.

You get what you pay for and this property provides just what is needed for an overnight stay. Towels are thick. Breakfast has enough variety to please most. Location provides options and easy return to the Interstate.
My stay was an extended one for business. There is a large park nearby for walking, running or biking. A variety of restaurants and grocery stores are an easy walk. The entire property is a bit worn but well maintained and clean.response / report this review -

There rooms at this hotel need some serious updates.
The bed was very uncomfortable and noisy. The box the bed sat on had been modified for a metal frame to fit into it. The box spring did not appear to be a proper box spring.
The paint on the ceiling above the bathtub was peeling, as was paint where water sprayed out of the shower curtain.
Noise from the corridor carried into the room loudly, as did sounds of water pipes that seemed to run above the bed.
There is no ice maker on the 1st floor, and the one on the second floor was not working. The vending machine on the 3rd floor was unplugged and empty.
Breakfast was ok with egg and cheese, sausage links, and bacon that was offered by the staff as there were only 2 hot Wells. The egg and sausage were overcooked though not to the point of being inedible. When I first arrived the regular coffee had been removed while it was being refilled, so there was no coffee for about 5min (they have 2 regular coffee carafes so they should never be out).
Overall there is nothing "Plus" about this hotel. The price is high due to it's proximity to the airport. There are plenty of other options available.response / report this review -

Staff was great and breakfast was overall good. Hotel needs updated inside. Needs new everything in rooms. It has 2 double beds instead of 2 Queens and they are very old mattresses. I stay at Best Western all the time and this is not what I expect.

All good until you notice the walls are paper thin. We felt aa if we had strangers inside our room m9st of the stay. It was to the point you turn around to see if someone was standing there talking to you. Some. Bates Motel type stuff. Next, the employee who checked me out calls me in the middle of a graduation program, INSIDE CHURCH, to tell me my card was denied. WTH!😡! I called back to give her my card number, she tells me it still didn't work and to check with my bank. I gave her a different card number and guess what: SAME THING HAPPENS!! After the graduation, I checked my account and they FINALLY GOT THEIR MACHINE FIXED!! Now ask me if I got an apology, NO😡. Did they call back to let me know the transaction was completed, HELL NO!😡! Otherwise, it's a pretty good place to stay.👍

I stay in Dayton a good bit and this is my go-to hotel. Staff is super friendly and the rooms are nice and clean. The breakfast is good, they even have a pancake machine. With simply the push of a button it instantly makes hot fresh pancakes.

I am a disabled veteran who uses a service dog. I did not end up staying at this property because the desk clerk was rude. Her first words to me as she was walking away from the front desk to do something else were, "We are not a pet friendly hotel so I will need to see the paperwork for your therapy dog." It was downhill from there. I did my best to explain ADA to her to no avail. I asked to speak to the manager. She contacted the manager as asked, but spent several minutes on the phone with her first talking to her about me as if I wasn't there and then said, " Oh, I have to put her on the phone now." I relayed my experience to the manager who excused the clerk by saying the hotel had recently changed ownership. I go many places where I must educate people about the laws regarding service dogs, the problem here wasn't ignorance of the law so much as it was extreme rudeness. I educated them and then I left, although they did agree to sell me a room for the night.
