  The room was really nice and the view was great. The WiFi was terrible and our fireplace didn't work. I called the front desk about the fireplace, the clerk said she would come take a look (not sure what she could do since we already tried every plug available) but I asked if they could fix it the next day while we were gone and no one did. We spent two nights without the accommodation I spent $9 extra each night for. I know it's not a lot but that was the only reason I chose this room over the others.

  Extremely accommodating staff...nice to have a good breakfast on the premises. Of course it has a beautiful view of the ocean. Convenient to all of the attractions in the area. Can't wait to come back. Thank you Dan & Brian

  A decent spot, close to the beach. It is across from the tracks, and the bridge was closed so access was a bit of a walk. The rooms are comfy but not particularly "nice". They could use some updating. The hot tub was broken, so that was a bummer. Breakfast is typical continental... Not bad for the price, but definitely not your top pick.

  Best kept secret on the coast! Charming motel across the street from the ocean. Great breezes and views. The staff is friendly, courteous and accommodating. I highly recommend it, and be sure and walk next door to the family owned Italian restaurant!, Agostino’s!

  This was my second stay at this hotel, and it was just as pleasant as I remember. The hotel is clean and well-maintained; the staff is friendly and efficient, there are lovely ocean views from many of the rooms, and the central garden space is a peaceful haven with beautiful fountains, lush plants, and soft, instrumental music that plays throughout the day. There is a nice selection of breakfast items available in the mornings--from waffles with assorted toppings for the decadent to cereal and bananas for health-conscious folks like me. Rooms are large and well-appointed, and the beds are absolutely the most comfortable hotel beds on which I have ever slept! The sundeck is a great place to sit and have a snack, read, journal, or just relax and watch the ocean.

  Excellent location. A decent place to stay as a comparison to other hotels for the cost. Near a railroad but it's not a problem, not too noisy.
  We liked no parking fee or "resort fee".

  This is a good place for families to come here if they want to look across the street looking at the ocean. The train goes by every half hour except in the evenings they stop running. They serve a continental breakfast every morning around 7:30. They used to be earlier than that but they keep making it later and later. Overall the place is good. They are a little pricey but you do get a nice view even if it is not the ocean view, it would be a garden view.

  Location was great, within walking distance to the beach. I had prebooked a king room and when we arrived, they gave us one with the jacuzzi. The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, and hotel was quiet. Breakfast consisted of waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, yogurt, and pastries. Overall a great stay.

  Wonderful hotel. Rooms are clean and well equipped. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The beach is right across the street. Dana Point Harbor is a short drive away. There are four restaurants within a short walk. We will come back and stay again.

  Great location across the street from the Beach. You should know that you need to walk a block to a pedestrian bridge, and so someone who struggles with stairs would have trouble getting to the beach easily. There are other beaches in town as options.
  Super friendly staff, family owned, small pool and a great hot tub. Easy parking underneath. Very close to the beautiful San Juan Capistrano Mission, and the ferry to Catalina Island.
  A very pleasant and relaxing stay.
  The only reason this is not 5 stars is that the quality of the breakfast was just so so.

  Very friendly and helpful hosts. Rooms were immaculate! Very comfortable. Room was quiet. Loved how close we were to the beach and excellent restaurants in walking distance. Will be back!

  This places is the GREATEST, like a little piece of HEAVEN!!!!!! The owner is the SWEETEST person you will ever meet and will drop whatever he's doing to help you. The staff has NOTHING BUT GOOD to say about him; Staff is very friendly and polite; They will help you IMMEDIATELY whenever you need something. You're treated like family there, along with being treated like ROYALTY!!!!!!!!!
  IF I ever go back to CA this is DEFINITELY THE PLACE I WILL BE STAYING!!!!!!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to anyone and everyone that is traveling in that area, you WON'T regret it!!!!!!!!!! 😊😊

  We just spent our wedding night here, and it was amazing!! Everyone here is super nice, and they treated us very well. We had a beautiful view of the beach that was right across the street, and the rooms were very well taken care of. Great breakfast selection as well. Parking is a little tight, but that is pretty typical for ANYTHING near the beach. Can't stress enough how amazing the staff and service is. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in this area.
