  Reopening 2018, the park will be even better than before Hurricane Sandy

  It will hopefully be nice again once they rebuild it to its former glory. It is a county park btw.

  Beautiful State Park on the Bay side. Very well maintained. Great for teaching the young ones how to swim, fish & crab. Public restrooms well maintained. There's a picnic area that has tables with BBQs available for family reunions. Over the years my own children learned to crab via drop lines, fish and just have fun here. The ski-dos like to come here too. Across the way, you can see South .Seaside Park. Many boaters use this area to go in/out to sea. There had been a sidewalk around the perimeter so as to take a nice, lazy stroll around the boarder of this park.( I'm hoping Hurricane Sandy didn't do too much damage to it.) This also goes for the picnic tabled area that was covered by a aluminum overhang for protection from the Sun.
  Enjoy your days here. But, watch out to the crafty seagulls that love to try & steal your bait and/or any snacks left unattended.
