Bennetts Curse Cupids rotten corpse!wow..what a blast.. will Definitely be looking for them at Halloween. This was there first valentines day haunt and we had a great time. There was so much to look at and with screams around every turn it's a challenge and a adrenaline rush all at the same time. We were fortunate enough to meet Alan and Jill outside after we went through the attraction. They are genuinely Good people and obviously do this for us. Hats off to you folks. You did an amazing job. We appreciate it very much and look forward to seeing you in the fall.. thanks so much.
Its sooooooo scary! Do yourself a favor.buy the speed pass or else you will wait, and wait, and wait and..wait some more. Fun for the whole family.
I havent been to Bennett's curse in years and now I remember why. Nothing but a lot of screaming when u walk thru. It looks nice like they put a lot of time and effort into it but it needs more theatrics for the scary experience for the customers. The makeup looked great.
I honestly wasn't expecting much but after going through I was so surprised at how good it was! The props were realistic and they're were TONS of actors with incredible makeup and amazing performances. My friends and I were screaming the whole time, haha. It was so fun. We got fastpasses and we were able to get in within 5 minutes of arriving. I was worried that being in the mall would take away from the scare factor, but it didn't at all. I was also really confused if something was a prop or an actor which added to the suspense. I honestly can't decide what my favorite part was, because it was all good. Also they were really good at spacing the groups out, so it feels like you and your friends are by yourself. Definitely recommend.
This is by far the best of the best 2017 it's well worth itYou will be scared no matter what you think!!!This should be a Must DO on your list of scary things to do during Oct. type of thing seriously.. Oh yeah definitly go in a group that your best bet your not safe in small groups we were 10 deep and were leaving each other left to right .
The only thing scary about this place was the ticket prices and long line. I like to believe I'm a connoisseur of haunted houses and I genuinely love to be scared so I went in with very high hopes of feeling thr euphoria of a good scare and not dying. Well that hope was diminished within the first minute and a half. Very few moving props, terrible makeup, NO sfx makeup at all, but a lot of cheesy mask though. Actors didn't seem to really know what they were doing, but the props were good, it could have really been a much better production because it seemed like they obviously had the funds to do so. If anyone has been too a haunt worth going to please let me know. I would not recommend this one.
I thought this was really worth the money I about pissed myself several times. the lines weren't long, however we did go during the week. The only negative that I really have to say about it is the exit dumps you out on the complete opposite side of the building so you have to walk out in the cold back to your car. not a big deal. definitely worth it!!
I have traveled the country to visit the best haunted houses, trails, and hayrides in the nation. Bennett's Curse is truly in a league of their own, there are definitely bigger shows but when it comes to actual scares and creep factor and originality bennett's Curse surpasses nearly all of the top haunted attractions out there. Bennett's Curse is on par with the best shows like netherworld in Atlanta and 13th gate in Louisiana and the Darkness in Missouri. Their characters are insanely cool looking and their assortment of crazy monsters makes this a must see show. If you're in the Maryland/DC area you've got to visit Bennett's Curse and pay attention to the creatures inside you won't be sorry.
Me and my family went to Bennett's Curse last year, in we had a BLAST!!! The one in Baltimore is on point my family loved it, I loved.. In for those who don't know, now you know.
We went last October and was very disappointed. The initial set-up was great when we pulled into the parking lot, then as we walked through, I thought to myself that we wasted our money. Not scary at all.
First time here, we've been going to another Halloween attraction for the last few years and wanted to try something new. I've read some other reviews on here and have to say that I really don't know what people are complaining about. This place was great! But, you know, the internet. You just can't make some people happy. We arrived just before they opened, only waited in the general admission line for about 35-40 minutes and it took about an hour to walk through. I was impressed with the props, the use of space and misdirection, and the actors seemed to be enjoying themselves. I'm not an easy scare, but I jumped a few times. There was a set up at the end that totally got me. The inferno was pretty cool. Never seen anything like that in a haunted house. A lot of time and work went into this place, kudos guys! Worth the money and the hour drive each way. Would definitely go again!
A group of 4 of us went Saturday night. We upgraded to speed pass because the line was long. We spent $45 dollars a piece and ultimately were not overly impressed. I was expecting a much more frightening experience and maybe that was my fault for having high expectations. There were cool aspects to it but a few things that ticked me off *spoiler alert*. you can't give people broken 3D glasses when you charge them $35 dollars a ticket. I picked up 2 different pairs, both broken, and didn't have time to find a good pair because I was being pushed along by the people behind us. Also, having a never-ending corridor of darkness when you can't see a darn thing is not scary, it's annoying and frankly it's dangerous. Also, we were told it would take 45 minutes to an hour to walk through, it definitely was not that long since we got herded along like cattle. In summary, I liked the idea of Bennett's Curse more than I actually enjoyed the experience and I'm sorry I can't give a better review.
I am only giving this place 1 star because there is no option to give anything lower. I spent $120 so I didn't have to wait over two hours and for what?! I'm an easy scare, and literally probably jumped once or twice. Every year we go to multiple attractions and this was hands down the worst. I expected greatness but $120 and 27.5 minutes later the one long walk of an attraction is now over. At one point, my boyfriend scared the actor -_- .I'm very upset that I had to stand on a milk crate to use the ATM because the website says nothing about cash only, I definitely would never recommend this place no matter how cheap it is! There are no refunds, and they state it everywhere. I now know why!
