The Bend Chamber's Young Professionals Network is now known as Bend YP (Young Professionals), a program for Bend's professionals, ages 21 - 40. The name change is part of an overarching evolution and expansion of the professional group from a social and networking association to one that is more deeply involved in the community, is engaged in mentorship, and focuses on professional and personal development. Bend's young professionals have stepped forward to become more engaged citizens of Bend. We have shown that we want more from our professional lives than paychecks. We have shown that we care about our community, and this should be encouraging to anyone who loves this city. The future of Bend starts with us. What are we going to contribute? Bend will be a part of our history, but how will we be a part of Bend's?
