Room was clean. Walls are really thin. The people in the room on either side could be heard easily when they were taking. The curtains on the side facing the parking lot were practically see through which was a problem since the campfire area was right across from our room plus any light easily could shine through. The bed was extremely uncomfortable.

We stayed here two nights. We liked the room, the location, the morning coffee was better than most places and it was ready when we got up early. Did not have a lot of interaction with the owners, but the wife was definitely more personable than husband. The one thing that was negative was the thin or uninsulated walls. The first night, we could hear the guy in the next room snoring quite clearly. Though his snoring was insanely loud and who knows if any wall could muffle it. The next night some people below us rolled in late and were talking loudly for quite some time, keeping us awake. So I guess if it wasn't for the other guests, this would have been perfect.

Very clean and comfortable cabins, fair pricing. The cabins had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would recommend to friends and family. I will be back again ;0)

My 3-person group is staying in one of the tiny cabins off the side of the line rooms themselves; this is the first time we've stayed here. Normally we'll rent local cabins, or we used to stay at the lodge, but the Bella Vista is a wonderful option! The rates were incredibly cheap, compared to other options (

My wife and I stayed a week at the end of May 2017. This is such a friendly place. We both enjoyed the way we were treated. I'm from the area so from now on as we travel up north we will be staying here. The view every morning was awesome. Such a great experience. I highly recommend Bell Vista. Thank you!

My kids and I decided we wanted a unique Michigan UP experience last year so we decided to go stay at the most northern city in Michigan. We didn't really have any plans and kind of made up our own agenda on the way and as we found things to do, so didn't book a hotel until last minute. We ended up getting a room at the Bella Vista Motel. This is a very small community, and most of the revenue these people get is strictly from the tourists in the summer, so you can't go into a place like this and expect a 5 star hotel. Having said that, the room we got was splendid. The AC unit was a little underpowered and it took a while to get down to a good temp, but I'm not one that requires 60 degrees inside either. I like being outside and have no problem dealing with it so I like it a hair warmer anyway. The place could best be described as rustic. For those of you that want higher end accommodations, you probably would not have been happy, but when I go some place like this, it's exactly what I look for. It's a tiny little place, in a small town, and it's a rustic area, and I wanted my experience to make me feel at home there. The Bella Vista was excellent in that regard. There was no breakfast of any kind, no cell phone service (which I was thrilled about!), but the place was clean, the beds were comfortable, the shower was hot, and the view was beautiful. The back area had a courtyard where all the kids could go play, and some grills that you could use to cook out, and just 75 to 100 feet away was the beautiful view of the bay. We loved our stay there. Nearby is Brockway mountain with a cool mountain road to drive up and explore. At the top is an unexpected viewing area that you just have to go see to believe. It was magical. We fell in love with the whole area in Copper Harbor. The people everywhere we went were so nice and we just felt at home the whole time. Thank you Bella Vista for a nice vacation!

My mom and I stayed in one of the little cabins, which was itty bitty and rustic but very clean. The toilet and bathroom sink were new, which I appreciated, and it has a full-size refrigerator for longer stays. The beds were the only negative in my book - definitely very old and not very comfortable, but for a couple nights it's not bad. Very nice owners, good price and an outdoorsy feel that's just right for Copper Harbor. Location was great too, just a quick walk to the pier and a coffee shop.

This motel was very nice and clean. It had a very nice view. The owner was very nice and helpful. The bathroom was nice and clean and the beds were very very comfy! When we come back I will be staying here again!

Stayed in one of the cabins. Built in the 50-60's would be my guess. No updating done since. Very clean except for the dime size spider living in the front window. The bed was horrible. Very springy with no support. Worst night sleep ever. There isn't a/c. You are provided with a fan and can open the windows to the constant breeze. Although 3 of the windows wouldn't open. Couldn't get the TV to turn on either. We were out of there before 7am. Maybe the motel part is better than the cabins. Your choices for rooms is very limited in this area so expect old motels with no a/c and little amenities.
