Believer's Tabernacle is a contemporary-based church that focuses on connecting people personally with God. The pastor brings scripture alive and makes it very relevant for the issues we face every day in modern America. I will walk through a typical Sunday at Believer's Tabernacle. They start service with worship songs that are mainly contemporary but also include great songs of old. The worship time fosters a personal encounter with God. So, the length of worship varies as they allow the spirit to lead. The worship time puts God front and center and allows me to focus and worship God as everything else fades into the background. They allow people to freely worship as they desire. Standing, sitting, kneeling, or moving around to freely worship God are accepted and encouraged. Next comes prayer for giving and a time of greeting. What makes Believer's tabernacle different in this respect is that they don't pass a collection plate to gather offerings like many churches. Instead, they have four giving boxes at the back of the sanctuary that people can drop in tithes/offerings/prayer requests at any time. I really like this because it takes the pressure off "being seen" when giving. Giving can be done completely anonymously and without pressure. They also have a giving station in the foyer that can be used to give online if desired. Next comes the sermon. Scripture is front and center of every sermon. The pastor uses many scripture passages and does an incredibly good job of bringing scripture to life with context and history. He is an amazing teacher that illustrates the context and history of passages and then relates them to my life today. He weaves old and new testament passages together in ways that make understanding the passages clear and relevant. The purpose of each sermon is to show us God's plan and how it relates to what we face every day at work, school, and at home. Sermons always point to God and how we can get closer to God and then exhort us to share the good news in our everyday lives. The service concludes with prayer and provides an opportunity to pray directly with leaders/elders of the church (if desired). God's love is emphasized very much, and the church provides a wonderful environment for worship and prayer. Whether you are firm in your beliefs, struggling with life/addictions or don't know Jesus at all, you will find a place at this church.

Believers Tabernacle is my church, & I am very proud to be a part of this church team. Paster Bobby speaks from his heart what Christ lays on his heart for his people. We are a family that cares and shares the gospel, and I am so glad the Lord led us here.

I love believers Tabernacle! It has blessed my families life many ways. The geniune nature of the staff has helped me feel a valued member of the church family. They have many times for service to work with any schedule, do great outreach on the community, and work hard to call you into sincere relationship with God!

BT has been my home church for last 10+ years. Pastor Bobby Massey brings the word each and every week and is not afraid/ashamed to say what the Bible says is #truth!! The worship is awesome, the worshippers are great, Jesus is Lord!!

I have been attending BT for about 4 months now and from the moment I walked in the doors I knew this is the place God meant for me to be. I have never felt more at peace and place I belong before BT. There is no pressure to be anything else but who you are. Taught and share from the beginning that who you are is good enough and EACH AND EVERYONE has gifts to share with each other. If you been looking for a place to experience God come visit this church. I did not know how much I was starving to be fed the word of God until I walk in the doors of BT. I experience LOVE SUPPORT COMPASSION and much much more from staff down to members. I love that there not negative turmoil or back stabbing or any of the other things I have seen in the past at churches. Pastor Marty does NOT put up with members treating each other poorly. He doesnt do it and will not tolerate his staff or members doing it.

I have been going to Believers Tabernacle for a little over 2 months and i tell you that I have never felt the way I do when I attend service here. They make me feel so welcomed here and Pastor Marty speaks the word of GOD to where I am able to understand and I feel that GOD has grabbed me and sent me to where I belong. GOD has lead me to a wonderful place to worship and surrounded me with love and family..Rosa
