We had a wonderful experience we ride horses and then decide to fish. We got 3 trout and price was not much different of the price on the store and we got to catch them ourselves. We will be back next year

Went over here for a memorable experience with my significant other and they definitely accomplished that. We will never forget how awful that place was. We wanted to go fishing and horseback riding, the people were unprofessional, dishonest in their advertising and the cost, they charge a 40$ fee a piece(80$ total) just to put the saddle on our horses and when I asked them why they do not advertise the extra fee they guilt tripped me by saying it is how they pay for their horse feed. When I went to check the horses I had to walk over trash that made me think I was on the wrong side of the property but i found the run down barn with beat down under fed horses with no water, their feet were so bad they were limping around. There was one that has old smelly yellow puss oozing from its face. The people were not concerned about it though, and you could tell they just wanted to be left alone. I could not bring myself to get on any of them suffering creatures. Hopefully they get the help they need. I was so unimpressed I didn't even try to go fishing. Instead we went across town and had a wonderful time. DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME

These people are SCAM ARTISTS Don’t waste your money going To this dump, I was told it was $35 per person to go horseback riding then they charge me $40 for a set up fee That was not told to me so it cost me $120 and I never got to go horseback riding. The saddle was too small for my body and when I sat on it, my arthritis kicked in in my spine started hurting so I got off I was told and get my refund, and the guy told me there are no refunds. My wife and I never even got to go horseback riding. The place is a dump money. It’s not worth a penny and the people that work there having showered and probably two years the horses walk like they haven’t been fed for a long time they should close that place down one big scam. You will not like it after you pay things change they try to give my wife a horse that one of his legs and we weren’t having it, one big scam. They will tell you that somebody else owns it but that’s a lie. They should shut the place down for neglect of animals.

What terrible place. Complete waste off time don't waste your precious vacation time going here. To turn around and run. Totally run down people are out of the movie the hill has eyes. Then there fishing rates on top of a $100 dollar deposit stay far away go 15 min north.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE! Should have turned around when we were told the aquarium was empty due to a leak they were trying to fix. We decided to go thru the museum anyway. Red flag #2 was when the creepy employees didn't have change for the $20 bill on the $14 total. We walked thru the "museum" which was maybe 10 shadow box displays with horrible taxidermy displays. Some weren't even lit up, half the descriptions were missing. We walked thru what would have been the aquarium which was just 2 small pools. The most interesting part was watching a spider attack a couple of pieces of grass We tossed into the web. I wish we had read the reviews ahead of time and saved the $14.

It was such an awesome experience! The staff were so helpful and funny trainers! We had such a great ride and an even better run with the crew! This is THE place to go for horse back riding and good service!

The horses were very well taken care of, but that's about the only good thing I have to say about them. The workers were way too unprofessional and sarcastic. Our trail guide was pretty good at his job, but to me, no one else was. When I got on my horse, the guy that was helping our trail guide put my feet way too far forward in the stirrups. I put my feet the way they should be and he did it again. Apparently, not many people ask for helmets here, so when we did, they had kind of a hard time finding helmets for us. My dad ended up not even getting one. There's a lot of really random junk on the trails. I went there to get away from the city and what I got was worse than the city. I really hate giving bad reviews, but I just felt very unsafe here.

It was definitely a bad experience, it's advertised as a park and we seriously thought we were going to do some fishing but it is just ponds over stocked with fish to the point were you can catch them with your bare hands. The worst part was that you are misled and into thinking that you will fish for 7 bucks to get you to go, once you are there they mislead you again with the per inch fee you will be charged for each fish you catch. We ended up paying 72 dollars for 2 people fishing only for about 10 minutes and catching 2 fish.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

The fishing experience is not realistic and its too expensive .

    Worst. Trail. Ride. Ever.
A friend of mine and I went on the elite trail ride where you walk, trot, and canter. We are very experienced and have been riding for 6+ Years.
Right when we pulled in, I knew by the looks of it that it was a total dump. The place was disgusting and had a poor environment for the horses. Most of the horses were skinny, unhealthy, and had swayed back. They claimed to not know one or their trail horses being pregnant. They said the horse didn't show any signs of being pregnant and continued on the trails. How in the world could you not see that a horse is pregnant? Let alone the horse was probably forced to go on the trails, making it seem like "she didn't show any signs". They used harsh bits on the horses and saddles that did not fit correctly. When we started trotting, they go "up" and we all had to two-point the whole time because the horses gait was so fast. Then what we expected as "cantering" was unbalanced and totally unsafe galloping down a uneven dirt road in the woods. The guys that took us on the ride were totally creepy and didn't know anything about horses, you could just tell. After we were done with the so called "trail ride" they didn't let us properly walk out the horses like they're supposed too. This could seriously mess up a horse and possibly lead them to death. They were also very lame looking and not fit enough to be doing that kind of work. The pastures for the horses were terrible and the hay was completely moldy and disgusting. You can find such a better place to go trail riding. DO NOT GO HERE. Worst experience EVER.

RUN, don't walk, RUN AWAY. I'd give it zero stars, but that isn't an option.
Be sure you're current on all your vaccinations before thinking about going here, and then have someone close the car door on your head until you decide not to go. The place looks and feels like it's seen better days, weeks and years. The man behind the counter was neither friendly or professional. Beaver Springs Park offers a 'buy one get one free' through the Splash Pass (deal book for many locations in Wisconsin Dells) you can pick up at various locations, we got ours through the campsite we stayed at. What they don't tell you is that they don't readily honor that discount. Then you will be told that deal is only for the 10am ride. Beaver Springs Park is counting on you breaking down and paying full price since you're already there. Got a large group? You're gonna need to drop $200 for a deposit. I don't know if it is refundable but I'm willing to bet I know the answer. The website is formatted poorly and inconsistent at times. We went there with the intent to ride horses only, never got past the greaseball in the neon green shirt.
Please read the other reviews about the fishing and aquarium, they are consistent with the overall look and feel of this place. Also, I took the time to write his in their own parking lot. There are a couple other horse stables in the area. Lesson learned, check those reviews

The sign at the exit says 'come again', more like never again.

Absolutely worst fishing experience I can imagine. This is a scam. They offer small fish at $0.29 and there are none that size in the stagnant miniature pond they took us to. The owner says he can't control the size of the fish, and you "might" catch one larger than 10" which will cost you 1.99 per inch instead. Ours was 14.5", or $31. Wow. Pretty much all of the fish In the pond are exactly the same size, and the water is shallow enough that you can see all of them. There is also a totally disgusting portable bathroom you can use if you don't mind catching more than the fish from this place. I strongly recommend you stay away. Go to the pirates cove miniature golf instead. That actually cost less and was much more enjoyable.

This place is terrible, and such a waste of money.
I spent seventeen dollars so myself and my friend could get in and the so called museum was a bunch of poorly taxidermied animals, empty cases and disgusting aquariums.
The person that took our money was dirty looking/poorly dressed and often mumbled or stared at you like you were an idiot or just didn't hear anything that you told them.
They didn't know anything about the place and the aquariums were very badly maintained--the fish were so unhealthy looking/acting and the poor sturgeon barely moved around in it's scum/algae infested tank.
I've been in bait shops that smelled/looked better then this run down joke of a place and I live in the middle of no where.
The fact they haven't been reported yet [to my knowledge anyways] really shows just how much the Dells wants to continue grabbing for as much money as they can, even if it's at the risk of it's customers/animals etc.
This place gives me secondhand embarrassment and sadness for all of those poor animals there.
If anyone can, please get that place shut down.
The people that run that place truly have no heart.

Please Read! The place is not worth your time. Stay away! There are so many family fun places to visit in the Dells area to spend your time and money, this place is not one of them. After reading all the other reviews posted about this place, looks like we got off easy. Our final bill was slightly under $60 for (3) 12 inch fish caught in 5 minutes.

What a ripoff! Don't bother with this place unless you have a couple hundred dollars to waste, and I do mean waste. They charge by the inch, which all the fish are over 13 inches and if you want to fish with your small children in the catch and release pond it's 45 dollars for an hour and a half plus bait and tackle. It's absurd! 4 trout, 115 dollars. He didn't charge us the 99 cent cleaning fee. What a bargain! Don't waste your time and try to bargain with them either because they will re-nig on their deal when the "big boss" shows up. You'll know when he's there because he is the guy with all the teeth in his mouth. He's the only one there. That guy will empty your wallet for sure.

I would give this zero stars if I could. Total waste of time and money. It took maybe 3 minutes to walk through the entire fish and wildlife "museum." Our "tour guide" couldn't answer a single question about any of the animals. Most of the glass cases were empty, or were not lit up. The aquarium consisted of two small indoor concrete ponds2 fish in one, and maybe 5 or 6 in the other. The place is falling apart and smells disgusting. We wanted to ask for a refund, but couldn't stand spending another minute there. Spend your money elsewhere.

I shook my head in shame, shock, and frustration as my family drove away from this dump having paid $320 for ten fish. This is complete bullshit. This place is a scam, as the others have said.
    STAY AWAY.
There are jumbo trout in the regular trout river. The other reviewer said it perfectly. "They say there are big fish, but that's all there are". The customers should be able to choose what size fish they want to catch, which we thought we did. We thought we were fishing in the pond where there were small fish. The "actual price" was written on a tiny cardboard sign hidden from view, and which was hard to understand. The "customer service" was rude, and they even threatened to call the police because we were unsatisfied with the unreasonable bill given to usplease, don't come here. Terrible.
