  The staff is fantastic and very professional. Only had to wait a few minutes past my appointment time as my stylist was just finishing up. Highly recommend

  After having another wonderful experience having my haircut at the Beauty Room in Waconia, I decided to write a review. When I reached the review page, I was so surprised to read a two star review from someone a week ago! I have been going to the Beauty Room exclusively since they opened and have never observed the type of interaction that the two star reviewer mentioned. All interactions I have observed in the years that I have been going there have been pleasant, courteous, and professional. The quality of services provided to me have always been excellent.
  I sincerely hope people reading reviews will see that all other reviews have been five star!

  This review is not reflective of haircare services, rather customer experience. I booked an appointment using the online scheduling tool. A confirmation was sent, an appointment reminder was sent. I showed up for my appointment to be asked if I had an appointment, to which I said "yes". I was promptly told my appointment was cancelled because "she isn't taking new people and we emailed you". I left work early to get there on time and all I see is a woman blaming the system and eyes knee deep in computer (no eye contact, repeatedly asking for my name). I looked and I had been emailed, unfortunately I wasn't checking personal email while at work, this is my fault. With other salons, my experience has been much more personalized at the front desk. I filled out an entire profile online to book the appt, they could have called me or sent a text with same day cancellation. While I was excited to try a new place, I left feeling very much like an inconvenience to them.
