  I am very happy with my hair. I was able to make an appointment the night before. The staff was friendly. I went in to the shop with a different hairstyle. The stylist informed me that because of my fine and thin hair texture she did not recommend the style because it would put too much pressure on my hair. I agreed with and allowed her to show me a style that was healthier. She also introduced me to an hair oil to help with my thinning hair. I will definitely return and ask for Miesha again! I absolutely love my hair.

  Pauline did a WONDERFUL job on my knotless braids; I just LOVE them!🩷😭👍🏾
  There was another young lady who assisted Pauline and she did great also! (I can’t remember her name!)
  So many positive attitudes all around!
  
  Also thanks Val for the appointment confirmation and for being so wonderful to me over the years! I’m happy and grateful to be back in your chair! 🩷

  Wow! I’ve been going to Beauty Concepts Salon for a few years now. I have never been disappointed!! But today, Juliette SLAYED like never before!! Before I knew anything she was done with my hair. Everything was laid and READY. Thank y’all for ALWAYS providing top notch service!! 💜💜💜

  I love this place! I’ve been coming here for years. I appreciate the professionalism of Valerie who is the owner and my latest style of braids that I got, Juilet did such a good job! I received so many compliments about my braids and the color combination that Juilet helped me with. I definitely recommend Beauty Concepts!

  I was referred to this place by someone. I used them only twice for myself but stopped going in because they are way to expensive without set prices for the same hairstyle. I took my 4 year old son in to get his hair braided twice because they are close to my home. I walked him in (so they could see his hair before booking) and told them what I wanted which was only 6 braids straight back. I was told it would be $30 (reasonable price). Both times I was charged $30. Today I took him in for the exact same thing, and they were trying to charge me $50. FOR THE EXACT SAME THING! I feel like this place is a rip off! After they went in their system and saw what's been charged and the person who braided his hair the first time confirmed it, they still were trying to charge me $50. They just quote prices off the top of their head instead of having set prices for things. I showed her the picture from when he was there 2 weeks ago. And in two weeks the price went from $30 to $50 in two weeks for the Exact same style? Nope! I will not ever be going back to this place and would suggest that you don't either!
  
  Update in response to owner: 1st off I have been there more than twice as stated. I STOPPED coming and stopped bringing my son because every week it's a different price for the exact same service! You don't post your prices like any normal salon so that you can get more money EVERYTIME someone comes in for the same service... If you so called raised your prices because "everything cost more now" (which is fine) Well set your prices on your website! and stop trying to haggle and surprise people every time they walk through your doors.
  
  And FYI, I don't need to learn how to braid. I found a better business with set prices and better service. Thank You!
