  Bay Concrete completed a job for me last week consisting of a driveway and walkway replacement. They were one of four companies that I contacted about my project. Bay concrete was the only company that got back to me promptly with their bid. It was easy to see after speaking with John Webster that he was the most experienced of the contractors and totally understood the exact scope of my project. He managed to tear out, prep and lay down new concrete in record time. Most of the work he did solo. The driveway, walkway and drainage system look amazing, exactly as I wanted. I would definitely recommend Bay Concrete for any concrete project that you have. He has an A+ rating with the BBB and I forgot to mention that they also had the most competitive bid as well.

  No response for requested project estimate. Was able to secure a estimate from the owner. My estimate was a good one compared to several others I had received. John and his team did a large driveway and long sidewalk for us. Prep work was very detailed and the finished product looked great. I would use them again and would feel comfortable referring them to friends and family.

  I went online and requested quotes from every concrete contractor I could find in the Tacoma area. Bay Concrete responded the next day. No one else ever did respond. The next morning one of their workers came to the house, looked over my old falling apart 70 year old back yard sidewalk, measured everything, and after a bried consult gave me a quote well below what I had been expecting. I agreed to their price, they agreed to my requirements, and with a hand shake they were over working on the job the following morning. They removed the old sidewalk, regraded the entire area, and formed up a level sidewalk from street sidewalk to my patio, a new patio and a side walk to my rear driveway, and stairs down to the driveway. The next morning rain threatened, so they errected a vinly sheeting tent for the entire side and rear of the house, covering everything. The rain started soon after but the pour was not effected by the rain. I watched all through the pour and saw that no corners were cut. It took all afternoon to finish the concrete, and when it was finally finished they sealed the entire sidewalk. The following morning, the third day, they came over mid day and removed all of their sheting, all the forms, and cleaned up and removed all of the construction debris. The finished job looks beautifly. A work of art.

  Did not reply to estimate request made on their website and via direct email. I called week and a half later and was told they are not interested with no explanation. I appreciate a company not taking more work if they are too busy but at least give a courteous reply instead of ignoring the request. I really do not know if they are too busy or going out of business as the response was a quick "Not Interested". I would never do business with them based on this being an example of how important customers are to them.
