I’ve been going to others for BMW Service, and while they were ok, I often felt disappointed when I picked my car up. Other service places weren’t able to reset the service computer, they often left the seats dirty etc. I decided to go to Basney for an oil change. I was surprised that the oil change was the same price, but the service exceeded my expectations. Check in and checkout is easy. The waiting area is clean with lots of coffee choices. Attention to detail is throughout the store, a monitor in the customer waiting room allows the guest to see the status of the car and when it’s finished. Bathrooms are spotless, guest service is helpful and respectful. I can’t think of a reason to go anywhere else.
Total 5 star service. They were extremely professional and accommodating. They fix my Problem ASAP I thought it was something worse but they found just something simple. They totally Rock!
Wonderful customer service. Our service advisor kept us informed, explained the issues. The car was ready as promised, plus the price was reasonable.
Basney Mazda has been taking care of my car for 5 years. They have a good snack selection in the waiting room and, if the appointment will take awhile, a prompt shuttle service with a wonderful driver. On my last trip they said my front brake pads had to be replaced and rotors cleaned. When I picked the car up, Kenny said they ended up needing to replace the rotors but they didn't charge me extra.
Overall the experience was great. My car looks amazing, and they returned it to me washed and clean inside and out. Customer service is great too. I scheduled Enterprise to pick me up 15 minutes after drop off, because I didn't know how long it would take. I had to wait at the shop, until one of the employees saw me waiting, and called them for me to have them come pick me up sooner so I didn't have to wait any longer.
Great svc Dept. Car broke down a few days before we left for vacation so I had to take the car in. Kevin and his guys fixed the problem and a couple of other things that needed attention (with my approval). They worked with me on some of the cost plus worked with the extended warranty company to solve some other issues. Great job Basney
As an enthusiast BMW owner, I perform a lot of my own maintenance, and the service/parts area at Basney is the best in the area.
Their team is knowledgeable and professional when I am looking for specific parts, including recommending other items that may be required for the job. They even made sure that I could purchase my parts on Saturday when their service/parts department is closed.
The front desk and sales team are friendly and accommodating, even when you're not there to buy a new or pre-owned vehicle.
I strongly recommend Basney as your go-to for parts and service on any age of BMW vehicle, as well as purchasing your new or pre-owned Ultimate Driving Machine.
Had to take my car here for a factory recall, had them do a multi point inspection while I was there. They came up with over $300 worth of stuff that didn't really need fixed & totally missed things that did need fixed. Took it to another mechanic that came highly recommended... he showed me everything that was really wrong & the things they came up with that were fine.
Typically when you walk onto a car lot in the South Bend/Mishawaka area and start browsing the cars, you will be approached by a rep asking if you need assistance within the first minute or two. Evidently you don't want our business. We arrived around 7pm (you are open until 8 on Thursdays) & were completely ignored. One of your reps finally got up from his desk at the front window, looked me in the face & never even stepped a foot near the door, let alone came out to help us.
IF we come back & decide to give you another chance, I will remember that man's face & will not do business with him. If there was another Mazda dealer in the area, I wouldn't even consider coming back at all!
THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT ONLY. I had the service department give me a oil change during the summer of 2016. In Feb 2017 I got another oil change at a highly reputable local repair shop and they told me the last people to do my oil change tightened the filter too much and now my rear seal is blown out. I was able to put some Lucas stop leak in there to slow down the leaking but now I am stuck with a $1500-$2000 repair bill eventually. This just goes to show what type of mechanics they have there. They work on 6 figure German cars daily and cannot complete a simple oil change. I would like management or ownership to contact me regarding this for a peaceful resolution.
UPDATE 2/28/17- I have reached out to a manager and I am hopeful for a resolution soon.
