I am a patient of Dr. Candace wood, and have been since late 2014. Previous HORRIBLE experiences with pelvic exams and ob/gyn health history...so I expected the worst. Instead, I got the very best doctor I have ever seen in my life. She helped us get pregnant despite having PCOS, saw me through my whole pregnancy and delivered my son. She honored my birth wishes even when the going got tough. She is, hands down, the best doctor I've ever seen.

Well was referred to this place from going to the ER. been to this place twice in the past week and have not had one question answered that I have asked. Even at their emergency room, my questions went unanswered. I came to this place pregnant, in severe pain and bleeding. And still no call from Dr with my results. The people here may not care, but us as patients care, and would like to know what is going on with our bodies, especially when it can be serious. You're just another number here.....

Love the doctors in this office. I know they work hard to provide the best care! I can tell they really care.

Today 7-14-17 was my first time going here for my yearly women's check up and I had a very good experience from the secretaries and also the nurses. I had Nicole Mahnert and she was the sweetest person ever and I think I found my new ob-gyn 😊. Thank you for making me feel comfortable

This office is horrible. I went during my 4th pregnancy. I saw a different doctor every time and had to explain my history, which includes a late term miscarriage, every single time. They never called me once for an appointment reminder, the resident doctors are arrogant and do not spend the time listening nor do they seem to thoroughly read your chart before entering the room. In this office, I believe they forget they work for you, the patient, and not the other way around. The only staff members that display any form of respect for the patients are the older doctors and the nurses. Every single younger doctor or resident I encountered was rude and dismissive. One even attempted to blame me when they had forgotten to write my prescription in a prior visit! Additinally, during the initial consultation i was asked if i was planning to breastfeed or bottle feed. I indicated I was going to breastfeed, which the resident doctor seemed pleased about, however, I found it disturbing that she seemed to look down upon mothers who would choose to bottle feed. It is a personal choice and women should not be made to feel like any less of a mother should they choose not to or If they are unable to breastfeed! If you would like to enjoy your experience working together with a doctor to deliver your baby, I strongly suggest going elsewhere! If you go here, you will not be respected nor will your birthing plans. You will be met with arguments and treated as though they know better than you.
