WLEC will meet at least once a month for General Assembly, where we may invite guest speakers (professional language educators) to present on a variety of topics related to teaching, as well as weekly Small Group sessions for each individual language (i.e., French Ed., German Ed., Japanese Ed., Latin Ed., Spanish Ed.)
Students of all languages and discliplines are encouraged to attend even if you are not a teaching major! Our teacher candidates need an audience for practice sessions, and if you speak the language, you will be great for those meetings.
If you are a World Language Education major, would like to learn more about teaching world languages, or just love either of these things, we invite you to attend.
