The best deal on wings in hickory. Also the best soup special. Monday is always filet of bisque. Aka. cheeseburger soup. Delicious! It goes fast.

This place had great people and great atmosphere! The food was nothing to call home about. My black bean burger was mushy and boring. The salsa with the chips was not very good, either. The food was just, bleh. But like I said, nice people and nice facility.

I tried the Talapia wrap today for lunch from the waitress' suggestion. I was wanting something different. It was very tasty. I will definitely order it again.

Take your pick as all menu choices will exceed your expectations! Outstanding wings and the prime rib on Sunday's is fork tender. Kevin serves up delicious concoctions at the bar - go bold or go home!

Food and service is always excellent; however, was there the other night and they have lifted the booths on the left next to the window up approximately 10" off the floor. Not sure what they were thinking! Besides ruining the looks of the dining room, they have a lot of mature customers that have been with them for years that can no longer sit next to the window because they cannot get in and out of the booths. I am just waiting for them to put them back down on the floor because I am sure before it is over with someone will take a bad fall from thateither someone older, short, or drinking. Management, that was a poor idea.

Backstreets is a great local hangout in Hickory. The food is fresh, well prepared and plentiful. There is a broad menu with something for everyone. Great for a family gathering, intimate dinner or drinks with the gang. The entire staff is friendly and attentive.

Great blackened tuna sandwich. I took the mayo off and used a different sauce. I forget the name but our waitress recommended it when I asked. The prices were decent as well. The menu at the restaurant has more than the menu online. The only bad thing is the food took extremely long even considering being busy. Our appetizer took a long time and even waited a long time after we finished it; also seeing a server eat fries off someone's plate in the kitchen before another server served it to someone. I'd still come back, if they're less busy.

I must be invisible. Had a stare down with the bartender just to get a drink. Felt like I crashed a private party. Didn't ask if I wanted a 2nd drink or a menu. I'll spend my $$ elsewhere..no I won't be back

Lee M., cutest, best, sexiest waiter I've had serving me In a very long time. Ohalsogood chicken/Asian salad tooand great coffee. Nowmy last drive back to black mountain.before I move back on Wed. Had to meet with the contractor and pick out shades of purpleAND SHADES OF GREY.

I have been a patron here for years. The food is great and the prices are fair. The staff, for the most part, has been around a long time unlike many restaurants. That to me says a lot. They are always kind and well versed in their menu. Specials are available daily and always a good choice.
