One of my favorite hang outs for good coffee and bagel and cream cheese.
I just got to come back here when I get back in town.
    Sincerely Mr D

Fantastic food! Soups are obviously great but the sandwiches are the unsung heroes here. Thinly sliced ribbons of meat piled atop fresh veggies and bread of your choice spell out a definite lunchtime win. As if the food wasn't reason enough to frequent, the owner is warm, funny and just a great presence to be around. Go.

One of their door handles has a sharp place on it. I reached for the door handle and came away with a cut hand. Over the years of use, perhaps an edge became sharp as the metal wore away. Have they fixed it yet?

Best Hungarian mushroom soup ever! The bread is fresh and it's a great compliment to the soup. The sandwiches are good but the soups are the best. Resonably priced, since they only accept cash, no credit cards. Totally yummy during the winter seasons. The service is good and the place is clean. One of my favorite places in town for sure.

Don't judge a book by its cover! The outside looks a bit industrial, but inside is like enjoying lunch at grandma's! They had 8 fresh soups to choose from (the sweet pepper bisque was scrumptious!) as well as many sandwiches with "from scratch" sides. My hubby loved the chocolate kahlua mousse pie and my pumpkin pie was the perfect ending. Great staff (Meagan was top notch), great choice for lunch in Sante Fe! Cash or checks only!
