  Great small and peaceful Cemetary! It’s a little spooky but being there in the sun and the quietness of the forest really brings out a great atmosphere. It’s pretty old and well worth to check out!

  Amazing place! Went there once, no paranormal activity though. Please respect the place it’s sad people tear graves down, after sunset you can get a ticket, probably best to go at night to try to see a ghost. (Go on a full moon night)

  This place is definitely haunted. I went with a group of people who were attending a seminar about the history of bachelor's grove. While there, all of our charged phones died. When I got home, I saw a hooded dark figure in the corner. Very cool if.you would like to experience something, I wont be returning though. We were clearly unwelcomed.

  It's not as creepy and interesting as it was - now maintained and landscaped, grass cut weekly, no more wildflowers or vines. Some very rude tour companies have tours on many weekends and act like they own the place. Park across in Rubio Woods. The path to the cemetery is West of the big cell towers.

  Peaceful and small. There's a beautiful shrine for an infant girl. Bring bug spray because they will drive you crazy. Great place to see a little bit of the past. Nothing scary here

  The forest preserve police gave me a ticket for being there after hours and the Sheriff gave me a ticket for parking on the street.
  $75 for a haunted cemetery and a parking ticket definitely not worth it.
  Don't go after sunset.

  I was there on Halloween, 1974, at midnight, and quite frankly I would never do that again. Too spooky and creepy. Last time there was in 1976 and I am in no hurry to go back.

  Walked around the lake,with the blue haze just light enough to see. On the good nights the mist would settle and you could see the other shore.always muddy

  Used to go to this place all the time, day and night, for a few years straight. Never once saw, heard, or felt a thing. Until my last visit, last fall. Along the trail, past the cemetery itself, you'll come across a creek. 3 friends & I stood at the creek, and purposely shut our lantern off to just be in the darkness. After about 5 seconds, we heard a high-pitched, loud, drawn out scream of a girl. We quickly turned the light back on and left in a hurry.. We left the cemetery woods after that. On our way out, the four of us would periodically turn around to a dark figure following us out of the woods. When we got outside the rope, it stayed behind.

  This place is actually haunted. Last summer I went here with my friend in the daytime and there was nobody there really. It was actually kinda peaceful. That same day, me and my friend waited around till it was kinda dark outside and then we went in again. This time there were four other people in there telling my friend and I what they had saw. Then one of the four other people pointed to a house that he saw and at first, I couldn't see the house because it was transparent. Then I started to stare and I actually saw the phantom disappearing house. It was transparent and ghostly looking with a very real looking yellowish orange light that looked kinda like a lantern. The light looked more real than the rest of the house and it appeared to be on the "second floor" of the house because there was a window on the first and second floor. So yeah. . .this place is definitely haunted and I wanna go back again. : D
