What a disappointment! Went with some out of town guests and found the meal to be just OK but way overpriced. My drink order was wrong and the server made no effort to correct it but simply shrugged their shoulders and walked away.

Really? I grew up in the Midwest - cattle country. These pork ribs don't even compare to what you get in the heartland. While the meat did fall off the bone, the pork was relatively tasteless and they ribs had too much sauce in them - likely to cover up the lack of taste in the meat. I liked the corn on the cob, the sweet potato fries, a salad and the personality of the waiter.

Food and service were outstanding. Friendly bar too. And the Yankees were winning. Made for a great evening.

Amazing, friendly service staff that knows its beer and ribs. California award winning brewery, brews all of its award winning pints right here in Rancho Mirage, CA! Popping on the weekends for those looking to dine out and a romantic mid-week date night spot with booths you can hold your lover tight in. A+ in my book.

Bate and switch? After a busy day of driving through 4 Southern California counties I ended my day in Palm Dessert. I was in the mood for BBQ I googled BBQ restaurant near me near the top was Babes so I checked out the menu and set my gps for the quickest way. Once I got there and look at the menu the price was almost 10 dollars more. I showed the server the menu from my smart phone and they said sorry it was wrong and there was no they could do. I got up and went someplace else.

Good Bar-B-Que, and good beer. they seem to be what's keeping The River alive (which is a shame to say). Otherwise, wait staff was nice, they had 5 of their microbrews on tap that were very tasty

A very small collection of craft beers brewed on site may leave you with wanting more. My wife had the ribs and thought they were not very tender nor good flavor. I had a pork sandwich which which did not have a smoked meat flavor and the sauce is very sweet with no bit to it. The side of a giant pickle is just plain weird. Perhaps worth trying if you can get a happy hour special.
