  Went to return a rental and they tried to charge me $50 for "water damage". Book was in the same condition I got it in. Spoke to the manager and she said "oh it's okay we'll just take it from you don't worry", as if she was doing me a favor. They tried to get away with charging me for no reason. Guess they figure they can take advantage of poor students. Shady shady shady.

  The latest books from all genres, lots of BYU swag, and a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Distribution Center make this a worthwile place to shop.

  I don't understand some of the negative reviews. There is ANYTHING you could possibly think of to buy here. From students to the casual person to a cougar fan. The price are actually very good. You have to remember that much of the merchandise is NCAA approved, meaning you are going to pay a little extra. I love the store and having three stories high and the huge amount of space and items, you can't go wrong.

  Although I love BYU and appreciate the efforts of the workers I dealt with, I'm very disappointed with the BYU Bookstore, particularly when it comes to ordering textbooks. They are overpriced, my order came incomplete (4 days later than an order placed on the same day with Amazon, I might add), and I was charged for a new textbook when I ordered a used one, even though they never checked with me about making that change. Don't ever buy your textbooks from the BYU Bookstore, and DEFINITELY don't order them online. They don't deserve your business; just stick with Amazon.

  They mostly sell clothes now. Think BYU Nordstrom. Everything is super expensive. Even books and school supplies. The Twilight Zone on the ground floor is probably the only area with reasonable prices.

  Train your employees on what their own workplace's hours are. I called the main number on a Saturday morning to ask if the packaging and shipping department was open. I called AHEAD OF TIME so I could potentially spare myself the trouble of lugging a giant box through hordes of people on a busy game day. The girl who answered said she got no answer when she called the shipping department (red flag), but ASSURED me that the department was open. So I lugged my giant box all the way from the law school parking lot through to the entire opposite side of the Wilk and into the BYU store basement, just to be greeted with a "Closed" sign on the door of the Packaging and Shipping department.
  
  Pathetic performance on the two girls' part who answered the phone, and pathetic that the workers of the main help line of the BYU store don't even have the hours of the various BYU store departments listed somewhere in immediate proximity so they can easily let customers know. If the workers on the BYU Store phone line don't even know their own store's hours, what in the WORLD could they possibly be helpful for???
  
  Too cramped. Decent selection. Twilight zone is nice for a quick snack.

  I can't say much that hasn't already been said. Basically this is the best place to get BYU apparel. Their selection is incredible. So many tshirts, polos, ties, towels, socks, anything you can think of really. Just don't give them your email address unless you want emails about BYU water bottles and fidget spinners every week.
  
  Also I don't really recommend buying anything else here if you're not in a rush. Prices are extremely marked up. Especially on textbooks.

  Don't bother ordering anything online. I ordered three items to be picked up in store, 24 hours later as indicated. After 48 hour I still haven't received an email to pick up my items. I understand the first week of classes must be hectic for the bookstore, but grabbing three items off the shelves and putting them aside shouldn't take two days. I talked to someone in the store and they were unsympathetic and unhelpful; it would have been easier to cancel my online order and buy what I needed in person as my online purchase seems to have been more inconvenient, not less.

  The BYU Bookstore is neatly organized, and I found it extremely easy to find what I was looking for. As a student at BYU, it's really great knowing that when I order books or other things online through BYU, the order will be filled quickly, and I can pick it up with little hassle.

  I've been frustrated before with the service here. My most recent visit was quite pleasant, though. The guy went searching from the 3rd floor down to the basement and found the thing I'd requested. There were only a handful left, so I bought a couple in part because of how satisfied I was with his effort.

  I love walking around the BYU store. They have super cute home decor and I love the women's clothing section (don't tell my husband!) The staff is always super nice and friendly. Great place.

  The bookstore itself is basically a tourist trap. Souvenirs, knicknacks and clothing, all wildly overpriced.
  The tech center on the top floor has pretty good service. The 'twilight zone' has saved me so many times when I was stuck on campus and needed something quick.
  It closes way too early to be really useful to many students, though.

  I paid for a book online from the BYU store for a certain price and was charged way more than what I had paid for at the online checkout. They refused to refund me the money even though my receipt clearly had a fixed price on it. I eventually ended up canceling the the payment on my credit card and fought the charge. I got the book for free because the BYU store did not honor the price on my receipt.

  The candy counter is definitely the best part, it has a wide selections of chocolates and non-chocolates too! Designed for a college student's budget, so it's affordable too :)

  Great customer service, super postie friendly atmosphere. Lots of selection and fun gofts. Go down stairs and score some deals and deep discounts on byu fan clothing and accessories. I love BYU and this place has great memories for me.
