  Such a lovely, beautiful, and calming sanctuary. The architecture alone is gorgeous and the history and purpose is amazing. I would love to visit again, and leave another donation. Access is free and there is parking on site. However, there are certain holidays and religious gatherings that may occur, so you may want to or need to check their calendar before visiting, just in case. Their visitor's cebter has even more beautiful architecture, and it is made primarily of wood, so try to visit their visitor's center as well, if you can.

  I have been to many Hindu temple and BAPS is one of the best. They offer great food and fantastic service. The complex is very clean. The shop is a bit pricey, but it's for the good of the temple. JAI swaminarayanayan!

  Very nice. Everything was well maintained and excellent order. My main gripe which ruined pretty much whole experience is when my girlfriend and I entered the temple a gentleman asks us to turn off our phones so I did. While we were walking through he continued to stay next to us. Lingering. Once on our way out, he asked to see our phones because someone saw us take a picture (blatant lie). Then he proceeds to demand to look through our photos. My girlfriend showed the single most recent picture and he then tries to take the phone out of her hands so I took it from him and we left. Will not return and will not recommend. Incredibly rude and he got upset when he didn't find any evidence.

  My husband and I were absolutely amazed at temple. Everything is hand carved.. including the inside pillars. I was taken aback by how beautiful the statues are. How beautiful their service is. Everyone at temple is very polite. Definitely recommend this place. Please remember to be respectful to their culture and wear appropriate attire.

  Temple is beautiful and clean. The volunteers are annoying and they stare at you all time. There are no signboards but the volunteers annoy you that you cant do this n that. Could be better managed.

  Very peaceful temple to visit and get blessings. Every stone in the temple is carved beautifully. Temple was built using Rajasthani pink stones and Italian marbles. While it can be 100+ outside, the sanctum will keep you cool all the time while you get swami's blessings.
  
  No shoes inside the temple and cover yourself well meaning no shorts or sleeveless dress allowed.

  Beautifully sculptured temple both inside and external! Shoes are not allowed inside the temple. Drones prohibited. Visitors should wear clothes below knee level. The food court is moderate and there is a pretty gift shop.

  Very cool place to visit, non-Hindu people should take the time as see this place. The main temple is amazing. I won't tell you what is inside, you need to see it in person. Photos cannot be taken indoors and with good reason.
  
  People who work here are friendly and very welcoming.
  
  Be prepared to remove shoes and speak in soft voices.
  
  It's astounding that this place exists in chino hills or California. If you never place to visit India this a a small slice to see in your back yard.

  Spiritual place for inner peace . Stellar sculpture and temple architecture. It also has a restaurant featuring Indian cuisines. Free entry and parking.

  The architecture is gorgeous and that alone makes it worth the visit. There are also placards/stands with information which is really great. But rules are quite stringent here, more so than any other Hindu temple I've ever gone to. Be sure to come fully dressed (no exposed shoulders, legs, midriff, etc.), keep your voice down and no photography. Be sure to respect the rules and culture when you're here.

  If you are a Southern Californian resident, this place is must to be explored.
  I do not know the history of this place because, its difficult to get any information. Although they do have a visitor's center, but on the day of my visit, i did not see anyone manning the front desk. However, the book shop was hive of activity. And in the adjacent is the cafe, that serves great food, but the lines are long for anything and everything. Do not count your blessings if your hunger pang strikes. The temple is the most sacred, I took the elevator to visit the second floor, I was shocked, I thought I was in another planet. Inside the temple everything is made out of marble. Its so gorgeous. The negative point is-someone overseeing, the operations has no eyes-No Photography!
