I'm a (former) dentophobe, having had excruciating experiences with other local dentists. After neglecting my dental health for some time, I finally decided to buckle down and find a dentist. I was aware of Avalon Dental Spa, and reached out to them to schedule a consultation.
When I met with Dr. Roberts and his staff, I was not only impressed by the comfortable facilities, but also with how at ease they made me feel while discussing my needs. We came up with a treatment plan, and scheduled some procedures over the next few months. I was still nervous for my first filling, but by the end of the procedure I was almost excited to come back to the next step of fixing my smile. I would (and have) highly recommend them to anyone who is the least bit nervous about dentists; my wife and children now have their dental needs managed by Avalon Dental Spa as well.

When you walk in you almost forget you are at the dentist. It is a beautiful facility with an excellent staff. The atmospere is very relaxing. I got there ealry and got to enjoy a very good cup of coffee. After the coffee I got to enjoy a hand parafane wax while I got my teeth cleaned. I wish I could go there every morning just for coffee and to relax. What a great way to start your day. If you have to go to the dentist why not go where you are going to be pampered. Thank you Avalon Dental Spa!

My First Time Experience There Was AMAZING!!!! Very Warm Hearted And Greeted With Smiles At The Door, Dr. Robertson Wife Greeted Me And Chatted A Little. She Very Caring And Amazing Women. Susie Was Also Very Helpful At The Front Desk. I Wasn't Nervous After The Warm Welcoming. The Staff Was Also Warm Hearted Too. After My Results And Before Cleaning Dr. Robertson Was So Gentle And Walking Me Through What I Had Put Myself Through And Need To Change About My Dental Problems, He Was Positive Through His Whole Explanation. Before My Cleaning Dr. Robertson Wife Gave Me An Amazing Warm Feeling Blanket And A Neck Pillow. All I Have To Say Is What An Amazing Experience For My First Time. Especially When It Was An Emergency Call. Thank You All And I Really Appreciate The Warm Feeling. Worth 5 Stars.

Best dentist in town. So friendly and personable. Before coming to Dr. Robertson, I hated going to the dentist and now I feel like I am at the spa. So relaxing and they care about what you have to say. Above and beyond expectations. Highly, highly recommend.

Dr. Robertson is awesome!!! My husband will never go anywhere else!!! He has never liked a dentist the way he likes Dr. Robertson, and the girls in his office are so friendly!!! Any time we have called they have always gotten John in quickly, and he hasn't had to suffer very long!!!! The girls are so understanding, and the Doctor's wife is so sweet!!! Dr. Robertson is more concerned about saving your teeth rather than pulling them, and he takes every step possible to save your teeth. He shows great concern for his patients, and he does whatever is necessary to make you as comfortable as possible!!! Thanks to all of you for being there for John!!! We GREATLY appreciate it!!! After a long day, still tired from a long weekend, I was looking forward to going to the dentist. When I opened the door, the pleasant scent of candles instantly comforted me as the insurance specialist, Susie greeted me by name and notified the hygienist. At every turn, the staff asks permission to proceed, explains the process, and checks for comfort. There was a new X-ray machine, and Jess explained how it works and talked me gently through the process as the new machine worked. I'm not skittish about visiting the dentist, but anyone who has trouble should try Avalon. After my images, Jess helped me with a paraffin hand treatment, neck pillow, and blanket (warmed and delivered to the treatment room by Carol) to relax while she cleaned my teeth. Dr. Richardson checked my teeth and the fit of my tooth guard while another hygienist reported on the state my children's teeth. Meanwhile, Jess scheduled our next round of check-ups. We left with warm Christmas wishes and pleasant conversation. I love this place and an glad we have the opportunity to enjoy peaceful, kind care right in our home town.
