RJ Avalon did not care about my business. I paid him for both personal and business filings and when I had problems he refused to help correct the issues. I have referred others to him and most of them have now left due to poor service. He has made so many mistakes and errors filing my returns that I have now had to hire a CPA to clean up his mess. Our non-profit his filings were so wrong they would not even accept our returns and now we are at risk of losing our 501c3 tax exempt status. When these issues were brought to his attention he DID NOTHING. He actually refused to call me back for days.
He only cares about getting paid.
We asked for our records so we could fix his mistakes, he refused to give them to us (the records we paid for). I have found RJ to be dishonest, greedy and a horrible accountant. Be warned if you use Avalon Accounting for your tax needs. Remember he is an accountant not a CPA. I will never make that mistake again!.response / report this review -

Other than RJ my primary contact person in Connie. I find Connie to be extremely courteous, whether on the phone or in person, and professional at all times. RJ's accessibility and prompt response to questions, as well as the overall atmosphere of the off
