I love just being there. The lady's even remember my lil girl and her name. Have been nothing but impressed by the staff. Always clean and all the natural lighting from the windows make it a lovely place to be.

My kids and I usually go about every two weeks. Extremely nice staff, the books are very organized and the most times available. I love this library!

The staff is great and very nice. I would give 5 stars, but there is a problem with street people panhandling patrons and sneaking food in.

I have a few gripes and I'm disappointed with the lack of creativity put into the uses of space in the library (Telfair Street Branch). First let me say the staff/librarians/security are friendly, approachable, very knowledgeable, and helpful as well. Now on to my rant! The design itself is very nice, but they've removed most of the seats from the windows, there's is no cyber cafe or separate section for people who just want to use their electronic devices. The book shelves are nearly empty and could be condensed to make space for a study area with partitioned desks for privacy. They never vacuum, the leather chairs beside the windows are filthy and never wiped down. There are carpet stains EVERYWHERE, throughout the library. To be honest its a real turnoff to see that the library systems MAIN branch is so dull, lacks creativity from a functionality/design standpoint, its stays dirty near seating areas (bathrooms aside), and the desktops are outdated. Somebody needs to filter some money into it and make the necessary changes this library deserves.

The staff are really nice. I had one problem with this lady who had her children playing on the computers and didn't have headphones 🎧 but every other time it is quiet and peaceful.
