Atlanta Roofing Specialists did an excellent job in replacing my roof, skylights, and gutters. David Bishop came out and did a thorough roof inspection and quote. The workers showed up on time, acted professionally, and did an excellent job. Some extra work had to be done on the decking, which was rotting in places. I was informed of the extra work and costs before it was done. The team spent the time necessary to ensure a quality job. Clean-up was very good. Sonny Gilchrist, the job supervisor was very effective in communication and follow-up. Sonny and David did follow-up inspections after the job. The office staff responded in a timely and professional manner. Everyone was friendly, answered all questions, and they were meticulous in the project. My roof and gutters look wonderful. All the neighbors commented positively on the way the way the project was done and how the roof looks. I highly recommend Atlanta Roofing Specialists.

The entire team worked extremely well together from the office to the crew. Everyone was professional and responsive and always on time. They replaced our entire roof including the decking and the skylights in only four days and they were able to get it flat (it used to be pretty wavy)! They also were able to schedule the job only 14 days after we signed the contract which is a miracle these days. The communication was excellent all the way through the project. From Kevin to Sonny to Pedro we are really happy with the quality of the work and highly recommend them!

I highly recommend Atlanta Roofing Specialists. We have replaced 3 roofs over the years, and this was by far the best experience. They are the only roofers who actually walked our roof to see any damage we had. The others sent drones, which cannot possibly see detailed damage from the air. And ARF found damage none of the drones ever saw.
Our crew, called Tereso, all so hard working and organized, carried those tall ladders around like they were pencils! They finished our roof in a day, and they stayed until nightfall cleaning up. There was not one nail or shingle left on our yard, no debris at all! And not one bush was damaged either. My neat-freak husband appreciated that! Kevin King was our salesman and Trae Nolan our supervisor, both excellent and very attentive to our concerns and many phone calls. Sonny Gilchrist made a special trip to our house to give me a signed "paid in full" receipt so we could take it to our insurance company that day to get the new roof discount for our impending homeowners policy renewal.
These guys are excellent and fairly priced; you can't find a better roofer.response / report this review -

After a bad experience with another roofing company, i called Atlanta Roofing Specialists. Rictor came out gave me a quote on roof replacement and due to his knowledge and professionalism i chose to work with Atlanta Roofing Specialists. There was one issue that arose and Sonny responded to it immediately. He even came back the next day to make sure everything was taken care of.Sonny really went above and beyond.I would highly recommend them. They did an excellent job.

I had a rotten wood rafter and plywood due to a roof leak on our screen in porch. I got a decent estimate on fixing the roof leak. However, when I got an estimate on the rotten wood repair I was told it was structural damage and it would be $6,225.00 to repair. I was told they would have to mostly like rebuild my whole screen porch. I found this difficult to believe so I got another estimate. I ended up paying the independent contractor who I used in the past $1,250.00. It was not structural damage and only took 2 days to fix. The second day was just painting. If I were you I would several different estimates so you don't get ripped off!

Top quality. Did my roof and other subbed out jobs for me. They do a lot of extra things during the installation that other companies skip. They also still hand nail the shingles which IS a better install due to consistency which doesn't leave nails sticking up or nails overdriven through the shingles. The office workers are polite and the salesmen are very knowledgeable. The owners are still involved too which are good to work with. Quality again.

My parents have always used Atlanta Roofing Specialists whenever they needed roof repairs. To this day my mother will tell anyone who will listen about what a great job Josh did when he came out to fix the skylights in the sunroom! We refer ARS to everyone we know.

Atlanta Roofing Specialists performed work on our roof at a great price and the work was exceptional. We had to have them repair around our chimney, some pipe boots, and replace our chimney cap. It's been over a year, still no leaks! They also replaced my parents roof. I refer them to everyone who asks!

We went through Home Advisor to get a couple of quotes for a roof replacement. We also contacted other contractors directly. Elite responded almost immediately and came to give us an estimate. Tommy was very thorough in explaining what the job entailed and how Elite would proceed should they get the job. While I gathered the other estimates, I called Tommy a couple of times with additional questions and he quickly responded.
Once the job was awarded to Elite it was scheduled when it was convenient for us. After a few weather delays (beyond anyone's control) the crew arrived as scheduled and completed the job in a single day.
They began working immediately and each individual knew his responsibilities and they performed them to the highest standards. Once the job was done they cleaned the area around the house picking up the tarps they had placed to catch debris, using magnets (for fallen nails etc.) and back blowers. The area was cleaner than when they arrived.
Thank you Elite roofing for a job more than well done.

These guys are the best! Atlanta Roofing Specialists installed our replacement roof 7 years ago after a hail storm and did a splendid job for us. Clean, neat, and extremely professional. Last week, I noticed a shingle piece laying on our driveway and suspected it had blown loose It was strange and had no nail holes in it, but I called Atlanta Roofing Specialists and they came right out to inspect! Again, the team that arrived was friendly, professional, and very much interested in customer satisfaction I felt we found "the right" roofing company 7 years ago with Atlanta Roofing Specialists and their follow-up today just confirmed for me that this is the company you want to do your roof!!! Thank you Atlanta Roofing Specialists for being there for us!

They do ACCEPT credit cards but I think they failed to mention when we scheduled with them that they charge an extra 3% if you use one. I don't know who has $$ laying around ever for an unexpected roofing repair but I would imagine most customers expect to put these large purchases on their credit cards.
They were on time. They were polite and professional. I am not sure yet how the job will hold up that they did but am very turned off by the misguided payment details.
I hope that in the future they will be very clear to potential customers that don't take take the credit card fee on their side.response / report this review
