The only place that I would trust to help my family and I with a referral to the best lawyer in Atlanta.

I called the Atlanta Bar Association regarding a custody matter. They actually answered the phone, were very polite and put me in touch with an experienced family law lawyer. I am very glad I did not try to find a lawyer on my own! I would use them again.

"The Atlanta Bar Association LRiS provide a very important service to the community. Their friendly and knowledgeable staff can assist you in finding lawyers qualified in most areas of law. I would highly recommend this service as an alternative to the unregulated for-profit services out there."

I used them a little while back they recommended Wooldridge and jezek, llp they where real friendly but i was wanting them to sue bill Hewitt at powerstroke help but they kept wanting to sue ford which I didn't totally I agree with they spent 7000 dollars of my money trying to sue ford and when they found out ford wasn't liable they said they wouldnt sue bill Hewitt because they didn't think It would be worth it financially which they might have been right but I wanted them to go through with it and they wouldn't sue him..

Can't really judge yet. The attorney that the referral service never got back in touch with me. I called and called and after 3 weeks of calling I gave up. He was either too busy to return my calls or didn't want my business. Not really sure I want somebody that's so busy they can't return a phone call.

The lady disconnected the call because I asked her to repeat herself more then 2 times and then she said I had an attitude because I couldn't understand her so she disconnected the call from me, how do seniors talk to people like this I know I'm younger but, I was not being rude when I asked for her to repeat the information. I have to talk to people from India on the phone for my job and they gladly repeat what they are saying tons of times. I work with people from Russia and China and when I can't understand something they repeat themselves. This lady spoke English on the phone but the service is so rude. They have no contingency lawyers at all through this service and they try to charge my card for talking to an attorneys secretary about when I want to schedule an appointment which isn't talking to an attorney at all, its just the secretary which isn't a consultation. I also have talked to two different lawyers all the way across the country because I'm not in Georgia and what I want to talk about will take literally a full 30 mins this service is 45$ for 30 mins from what the Barr says the consultations suppose to be like "initially". The lawyer is telling me they won't even give me that in less I pay for 30 mins afterwards and I'm like I don't need that much time to talk about what I want to discuss. I already know what I legally want to do I want a consultation to see if I want to even hire the lawyer in the first place if not I'm going to use the other two I have been talking with.. but the office I was recommended to is being ridiculous right now. The other two can't do a thing for me without me talking to another one first based off what is going on with my legal situation. I'm also on the west coast so I need to talk to someone from Georgia about the Georgia state laws, to really put everything together for my legal issue. If I get 30 mins for a consultation and gave my payment info to them then that's what I should get without having to give my card info out again. I know that's just what that type of office does for Jeanne Hites but, her service is not what I need so I wanted to talk to another lawyer. They don't even give out 3 lawyer recommendations for the same issue for the year like my state barr does. The first guy I called isn't going to be in the office for weeks so that's not going to help over a time sensitive issue. I need a lawyer whose going to follow what their Atlanta Barr says they are suppose to do. Besides that.. I know the normal rates are $250, the Jeanne Hites office said the 30 mins would be 175$ the money is not the problem if its if I even want the service after the 30 mins that are paid for for 45$, for consultation but I can't even tell if I want to hire a service if I don't have the minimal consultation at least offered by the referral service to their clients the lawyers and I can't get that without setting up payment information. I do not like that type of styled service and thankfully there are search engines like Google or Bing so the Atlanta Bar Association is just a waste of time for anyone that wants to be taken serious on their cases just Google a lawyer and read their personal websites and looks up their credentials and its way better then having to talk to people who won't even talk to me about actually getting hired. Also just Googling I got so many lawyers who will do a free consultation to just talk about if there will be a case or not. They would have easily had me as a client if they just followed through with their services like they say they are suppose to, I can't even pay 175$ if I don't even know if I have a case or not or if there's anything they can do for me. The east coast lawyer service referrals are horrible in my opinion.
