Got a total of 19 yards of landscaping (shredded) black dirt over multiple days. Absolutely the nicest dirt I’ve ever seen. Super east to shovel, rake, and move.
The only downside, if there is a downside, is that they don’t take credit or debit cards for payment; you’ve got to drive over and pay for it with cash or check. Not a big deal to get an excellent product.

I asked a bunch of questions about my project and Sara answered them all. Communication was great. Delivery was prompt and prices were fair.

Easy to work with. Prompt delivery. The only downside: I wish they would get Venmo or some other electronic payment so I didn't have to use a check.

I bought dirt from Asplin in June of 2019. Buyer beware. It's likely my fault for not thinking of where they are sourcing from. The product is about 30% cheaper than others around town. But, it was filled with clay and and 1" pieces. The website says "Fine quality, shredded dirt". This was not "fine quality shredded dirt", it was about the quality of class 5 gravel.

When I called to complain, the company told me that's what their product is, and they try to explain that to people when they order (they didn't). I was told I had to water it and work with it so it would break down. They said what I was looking for was almost impossible to find around here (its not).

Today I learned that there is a difference in dirt quality. So when shopping around, ask where it is sourced from. And if it is much cheaper than everyone else, ask yourself why.

I got my dirt cheap and quick. And, the lady that answers the phone is nice.
