Easy to get to, parking near door is nice so you dint have to trek far with your bags. Restaurant is OK, bottled water is stupid expensive, but that’s all airports, I guess!
United staff were truly awful! Should not be working in customer service - rude & not helpful (John E).
Aspen has all the bells and whistles one could ask for, the airport is not one of them. It is small and crowded with a terrible food service. I ordered a chicken sandwich, it was terrible. Dry chicken on a piece of dry bread roll with a bit of fries and the greens attempted to decorate the plate made it look like a rotten veggie patch. The service was dismal. The man taking orders for food couldn't be bothered with helping, very rude and not helpful at all. This is something that could leave your memory of Aspen with a bitter ending.
Very convenient airport. The free bus takes you into town in just a few minutes.
We were 3 minutes late for the luggage check in and the black man with the dreadlocks would not make an exception, as we had to get home to our baby who also had a check up appt today. He dismissed me and was quite rude. They literally do not care at this airport. It's not like it's a united hub, it's a mini airport with nothing happening ever. I will never fly out through aspen. The only person that was helpful was Terry at the united check in. Be aware the people that run this airport lack feelings and compassion. They didn't even put the tsa precheck on my new ticket. Then it all ended with a pat down. #worstairportever
During holidays and in-season, the security line and the waiting area are very, very crowded. I've seen people miss their flights while standing in the security line because it's so noisy you cannot hear the announcements. You cannot get food or drink unless you are inside the gate area. It's nice that parking's nearby and that you don't have to walk a long way to pick up your bags, but this airport is inadequate for the number of planes and people that use it.
Friendly professional people and the best place in the world for an aussie to land at.. it gets more magical every time! Thankyou Aspen Airport!
Nice little airport and the nearest airport to me which makes it very convenient. Not only is it convenient but it is also a nice airport. I've only flown out of here on 2 flights so I don't know much about the place. However when I have been here my experience was pleasant, I have had a fast time getting my bags checked and I have gotten through TSA quickly. Compared to the many other airports I have flown out of, the TSA here is very fast and has little to no lines, although this airport is an exception because it is very small, has few flights each day compared to many airports and the airport is mostly used by private planes.
Very small airport. Nothing really to do.
Stuff is friendly and all move smoothly and fast.
Nice airport but during peak seasons not much seating space had to sit on floor. But nice country feel in the terminal
I have been here for three extra days. Due to weather. They offer no vouchers for hotels or food, I have basically doubled my plane ticket price in hotels and food. Hopefully day 4 will be the day. Fingers crossed. Please please please read this. Avoid this place at all costs, as cancelled flights are very common. About 30 percent. Please fly to vail instead. It's fifty minutes away, there's a bus into aspen, and it's in a valley so cancellations are uncommon there. I have learned my lesson.
