    AN ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE PLACE!!! Bought a couch from there a couple months ago. First of all, like other reviews stated, it's almost like a inconvenience to talk to manager. My couch was supposed to be delivered from warren on the day we picked. Even got a call that it was ready. Got of work early to pick it up and it was still at warren warehouse. So instead of offering free delivery as it was their fault, i had to yet take more time of work to pick the couch up a week later. Manager did nothing but try to get me to pay for shipping the couch to my apartment when i didn't want to ship it in the first place. Such terrible customer service. For the customer service alone i will NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. TERRIBLY RAN

    Every Single item that I have received has came damaged. I paid for new, don't even send damaged goods to my house. The delivery people said they were told to delivery it even with the Damage!!

    I made a custom sectional couch purchase. My sales associates who sold me the sectional were great. I was quoted 6-8 weeks and stopped in today to ask the status on the delivery. The sales desk associate stated a longer lead time of 10 weeks, so I asked to speak to a manager to get more detail on the extended lead time. The associate called the manager on the phone, who was 30ft from us, about the order instead of coming over to speak with me face to face. The manager finally walked over after I pointed out he was 30ft away and stated a new due date that he claimed fell on 8 weeks. I pulled out my calendar, it was 9 weeks and will not have a couch for my guests on Thanksgiving. I am highly disappointed with their customer service. I spent thousands of dollars in the past month at this location and will not be making another purchase.

    I just made some purchases by an amazing sales person at the Taylor store. Ahmad is an excellent employee. He was professional, knowledgeable and genuinely concerned for me and my needs. I would highly recommend asking for Ahmed at the Taylor store.

    Bought a patio set there in June. Sales lady told me that it was aluminum and will not rust. Right..took the table out of the box and you guess it... Rust.. New in the box...Rust..took the chairs out of the plastic wrapping guess what...Rust on every weld. Call the warranty techician and he told me to do his work. Sand the rust off and dab some paint on the rust areas.Are you kidding me.So I thought about it until September and I was going to do it until I saw that I had to spend a half day or more to do the work and I said I don't think so. Called them back and suppose to return the set and choose another one next spring. Purchased a real aluminum one at another location ten years ago and guess what..No Rust.. By the way this set was made in .you guess it CHINA. If you purchase something there make sure it's not made in CHINA,

    Don't just take my word for it, look at the other low ratings this store has received before donating your money to a garbage can, or Dave

    Summary: 4 damaged pieces of furniture, 3 weeks to wait for acceptable furniture, 2 rude managers not to mention other staff (shout out to Dave I didn't forget you, you jack-o-lantern), and 1 entire waste of time, money, and effort.

    Details: I recently purchased a living room set, couch, love seat, 2 end tables and a coffee table. On the pickup date, the love seat had a hole in it and the couch had a burn mark in it. On the rescheduled delivery date, the couch they brought to the house had a broken arm and an end table had damaged wood; which the delivery driver said we could keep. They got it right on their third attempt, but demanded the end table back that was promised to us. When consulting with a manager Dave, he was abrasive and rude saying they won't entertain making the situation right until the damaged table is returned to them. It has been a 3 week process to get the most popular selling set in the store to be delivered to our house.

    You could get better quality furniture from the bottom of a river, also you don't have to deal with Dave.

    Un-frickin-believable........

    We have been LONG TIME Art Van customers. However......please for the love of God.....avoid this place at all costs!!
    My husband and I are seriously the most mellow, easy to deal with, couple you're ever going to find when it comes to making decisions on furniture etc.... We literally spent $5000 on 16 pieces of furniture in less than 30 minutes. However, two of the pieces, were on back order but we were told they would be delivered on two weeks....fine....no problem. Fast forward 1.5 MONTHS and over 20 PHONE CALLS, PLUS a visit to the store, later.....S.T.I.L.L. N.O. C.H.A.I.R.S. We call, they promise, we wait....and wait....and wait.
    Finally today, we gave up. We cancelled our order, and we are buying from a different company.
    So.....Art Van Taylor....how does it feel to lose a customer of over TWO DECADES??
    I'm sure the "non-douchebag" employees and managers thank you for making their paychecks just a little bit lighter.....

    You get what you pay for. Should've never settled on an L-shaped desk in their clearence center. The chair I bought is decent, however the desk is really cheap particle board. Not my first choice to buy new furniture.

    I will NEVER shop here again. I purchased my kitchen set with a sales rep who gave wrong information to make a sale. I thought it was just him so we purchased a living room set from the main floor. Every piece of furniture was broke and damaged. I asked for an exchange with a specific time frame because I had already taken off work. The manager would not make an exception and blamed the manufacturer. He then stated "Art Van has not been in business 58 years delivering broken furniture". Not something you should say to someone spending thousands of dollars. Horrible customer service! I ended up returning the set for a new one... Because they wanted to charge me a restocking fee for damaged furniture. My husband and I just purchased a home and want new furniture for every room. Art Van will not get our business going forward!

    My most recent experience with Art Van (Taylor location) was less than satisfying. Was told one thing but got another. Went in to express my concerns and was left with my sales agent and a supervisor both looking down at the desk with nothing to offer me. They let me vent and occasionally shook their heads as if they cared yet offered no solution. Just be sure you are clear on what you are getting before you make a commitment. The sales agents ESPECIALLY the seasoned ones are trained to omit important information so it will benefit themselves. Such a shame. I should have known better. You live and learn. Won't happen again.

    We dealt with Rob and he was very professional. We had a budget and know what we wanted and he was very patient and we never felt pressured. We were happy with our purchase. On the scheduled delivery day, 2 men showed up early and immediately put their booties on as not to get dirt on my new floors and carpeting which I liked. They were very professional and courteous and assembled our furniture. NO problems whatsoever. We are very satisfied with our whole experience. I must admit I was a little bit worried when I read all the negative reviews online but, for us, we give them 5 stars for excellent service and we will shop there again! THANK YOU!!!
