They are a Rothco dealer and that means quality packs. The prices on the Rothco items are comparable with online.

It has a nice selection of some camping gear and military surplus type items. It's very good for the budget conscious Boy Scout. If you're looking for anything higher end, Trail and Ski offers a better selection but you will pay accordingly.

They are the only surplus store in town, total thieves. One day they give me some insanely low quote for a ton of stuff ($75) and I say no, determined to shop around. After I find all the other surplus shops in town are closed, I go back and they only offer $45. This place is a joke.

They staff is very knowledgeable, and they have a huge supply/surplus. Getting in and out of the parking lot is a little challenging.

Always found the people there to be nicely unobtrusive, respectful and well-informed.
My sons have grown up buying stuff there for camping and outdoor stuff. We love it and always found it a nice place to look through. I AM starting to wonder what the hell all you crazy people are going in there wearing or what kind of drug-addled looks you are doling out to the employees. I've never had a moment of trouble or rudeness from the staff.

They have a nice selection of stuff. Service wasn't especially great. I guess if I was older than 40 or looked like a military guy, I might have had better service. Instead, an older obese gentleman stared at me like I was going to steal something the entire time I was there and never was asked if I needed help looking for something. I was going to buy a ka-bar for my father for Christmas, but I left after a few minutes of feeling like a criminal and not a customer so I took my business elsewhere. Their $80 loss is K-Mart's gain.

Edit: After I published this, I noticed someone else had a similar experience earlier this year and someone (probably an employee of the store) responded saying not to look suspicious. When I went in the other day, I was dressed nicely. I'm a mid-20's white male. Nothing suspicious about me. Especially considering the stuff I was looking at were knives in the glass case. I spent a good 5 minutes looking at these knives with this man 10 or so feet away from me just staring at me. It was incredibly rude. If you treat every customer as a potential thief because "people don't have THIEF stamped on them" then you will lose a lot of business. Treat every customer as a potential sale and they might actually browse your store. The money you make from those sales will far outweigh whatever is stolen by the small amount of idiots foolish enough to steal something from an army store.
