When I come in from out of town, I go here. This is a landmark of nerd culture in Cincinnati, and I'd go as far to say even the midwest. Now that I live in DC, we have nothing as great as this. Friendly staff, good crowds. It's just in a creepy abandoned mall, but that kind of adds to the experience.
Laid back and friendly arcade is awesomeness. Jessie has really built up a nice business for those of us who adore arcade games of the past and system gaming of the present. They have parts and accessories galore at really decent prices and games for days. The collectibles are pretty great too.
If you want kid-free, good drinks and gourmet hot dogs, check out Bar Edition in Northside. Absolutely wonderful.
You need this place in your life! Seriously, best hot spot every! A ton of great games!
Nice size area. It is really cool that it has games we grew up on. My sons absolutely love it. Will return for years to come
After years and years of people hyping Arcade Legacy to me I was a little disappointed. The games weren't the best but I still had a ton of fun. They also had a whole bunch of retro merch which was fun to look at. The staff was really cool and down for conversation. Pricing was fair and I will likely return.
A lot of fun for cheap. Great place to spend an hour at lunch for just $5 for free play. Lots of rythym games and many more classic arcade games.
A lot of fun for not a lot of money. $10 lets you play all day and they have 1 and 2 hour passes as well. Good selection of arcade games, consoles, and pinball. Think 16 bit without alcohol. Mostly a younger crowd but a few adults. Family friendly.
This place is incredible. They have about 40 arcade machines if i had to guess, but its not just arcade machines! They have super smash brothers on a projector in the back. They have like 10 or 15 game consoles ranging from NES to PS4, and a whole wall of pinball machines! I played rock band 3 for a solid hour (they have all 1000 dlc songs!). They have a giant library of games to choose from for all consoles and also doubles as a second hand store for video games, movies and memorabilia. They also sell drinks and they really have good prices. 75 cents for a coke or 2.50 for a bawls (which is in my opinion the best pop out there). The staff is really cool and the overall environment is very friendly. For 10 bucks for the whole day its completely worth the money. The only recommendation I would have for arcade legacy is to setup a few gaming computers to play pc games old and new. And maybe a house of the dead cabinet. Love this place.
The games are not from my formative years, but just a few years after. Still there are a good collection of games, a nice array of pinball, and even some new imports. With six of us on an all day we easily got our moneys worth during our time. It is not a weekly thing, but it is a several times a year enjoying time.
Was not impressed. It was hot, dark, and the majority of the games were either broken, not plugged in, or stuff I've never heard of. It'd probably be a good place to come if you wanted to play PlayStation or another console type game as there was walls full of games but I was expecting more old time arcade games.
Absolutely love going to Arcade Legacy! It's been getting more and more people that are going there for fighting games on consoles (when I went last time, a dozen or more people were all playing Super Smash Bros). Has a fantastic selection of old arcade games and pinball tables and they're all well kept up. They've also got an excellent selection of retro console games available for purchase.
Great place and really a gem of a place in Cincinnati, sucks it's in a DEAD mall but overall I understand rent is cheap haha. It has lots of things to play and the price is very good. A great little hangout place or fun date location. If you haven't been and arcade style games or gaming in general is your thing than do yourself a favor and stop in!
