Welcome to Applegate Adventure! We offer guided Applegate tours for the hiking or biking enthusiast. The Siskiyou Mountains of Southwest Oregon and Northern California are some of the most diverse and biologically rich in the Western United States; perhaps even the world. There are 500,000 acres of wildlands in this region, making it the biggest remaining roadless tract between Canada and Mexico on the Pacific Coast. The extraordinary biological diversity of the Siskiyou bio-region has given this area the designation as an Area of Global Botanical Significance. Nash Durham, certified guide, invites you to experience firsthand why this area is so significant.
Nash has lived & played in Southern Oregon for over ten years and knows what the area has to offer for all experience levels. He has twenty years of experience as a professional bicycle mechanic, to see that your bike rides as smooth as possible. Biking Tours
Our guided Applegate biking tours are designed to show you the very best that Southern Oregon has to offer…on wheels! We accommodate all skill levels (from beginner to advanced,) and provide biking tours from May to October each year. All of our tours are private. We do not combine groups, and we keep group sizes small to give you and your group optimal attention. We will spend time and communicate with you before your tour to assess your skill level, available time, group size, and suitable trail options.
Generally, the Sunshine Plaza in Ruch is our designated meeting spot for tours, located at the Southern end of the Applegate Valley (8 miles from Jacksonville off of Highway 238.) Transportation can be arranged in advance for a small additional cost for those visiting from out of town. We recommend proper attire for potential late summer high temperatures and weather conditions. Wear breathable fabrics, closed-toe athletic shoes, and pack sunscreen and any other safety necessities.

Reservations and Cancelations
Our reservations are booked with a non-refundable deposit, and all tour times will be honored; rain or shine. (Inclement weather is rare.) In the event that your desired tour date is unavailable and you’ve already paid for a reservation, you will receive a full refund. We ask that you give us 24 hours notice of any cancellations.
