Gorgeous store with a beautiful selection of gowns. A bit pricey.

I would not recommend Angela's Bridal after the experience I had with my alterations. They were done very poorly. The loop holes for the buttons were too large, so my dress came unbuttoned all night. The bustle partially broke and kept coming undone whenever I moved around a lot. The worst part is it happened before my first dance with my husband. We had to keep redoing the bustle and buttons all night. There were loose strings all over the top part of my dress, and small holes on the train. The underneath was wrinkled. The corset that came with the dress did not work with it. Angela's did resolve this issue, but not until 20 minutes before I took my dress home, so that caused a lot of stress leading up to my wedding day. I did not notice all of the other issues with my dress when I picked it up. If I did, I wouldn't have taken it until it was right.

When you invest in a store you hope you will be valued. During all 4 fittings the owner did not look over the dress on me once even after concerns were voiced. She never called me or my mother back about my concerns until after all of the issues happened after the wedding. She emailed my mother back, but from a private email address so my mother did not open it. It was not the Angela's Bridal e-mail.

The seamstress made many comments telling me not to eat too much during the holidays- this is after she stretched the delicate fabric out so it wouldn't be too tight. She stretched the overlay lace in the front top and back of my dress aggressively with her hands. I am 100 pounds with an autoimmune disease where I struggle with weight gain, so I did not appreciate this frequent comment. I had a lot of unfortunate dealings during alterations. I am also wondering if my dress was ordered too small to begin with. I am NOT a bridal gown expert so I put my trust in this store, not ever imagining this would happen on my wedding day. When you pick out a dress one year before your wedding you expect it to be just perfect. They have a full year to make it right. It makes no sense to me that this happened and is so upsetting. When you pay $500.00 for alterations, you expect it to be done correctly or fixed if there is a mistake. I understand mistakes happen. However, the exact concerns I had about my dress ended up happening on my wedding day. These concerns were brought up at Angela's. During my last fitting the owner let me in the fitting room to put my dress on, and that was all I saw of her.

There are so many things out of your control for your wedding, so your bridal gown should be something you feel good about. From the time I tried my own dress on in November I was stressed out about how it fit me. This could have been avoided if proper care and communication happened between the owner, myself, and the seamstress. I was promised a refund for alterations almost one month ago. I have not received it or a response. I will not recommend that anyone use this bridal shop. I am still very upset about my wedding dress experience.

Words cannot express how wonderful Angela's Bridal is. From their amazing and talented staff to stunning dress selection Angela's is the only place you need to go when searching for the perfect wedding dress and bridal experience. From the moment I walked in for my first appointment and fell in love with my dream dress from Hayley Paige, until the day of my wedding, Angela's Bridal was there to make sure everything was perfect. Because of them, I not only had the perfect dress & fit but the owner Janet actually came to my wedding venue to save the day after a bridesmaid dress malfunction (which was no fault of Angela's Bridal). I cannot say enough wonderful things about Janet, Nora, Chella, Michelle and all the lovely ladies at Angela's. If you are engaged and looking for the perfect place to find your dream dress look no further! The gorgeous architecture of the building, the amazing dresses and the unparalleled service makes Angela's Bridal THE wedding dress destination!

I went into Angela's Bridal after visiting a few other bridal stores in the area and not being able to find anything to my liking. The staff was very friendly and helpful and didn't have a problem with me wanting to buy a bridesmaid's dress to wear as my wedding dress: they treated me exactly like they would someone buying an actual wedding gown.

It took about 5 months for my dress to arrive at the store and I received a phone call from them asking if I would like to come in, take a look at it, and try it on. Once again, the staff was very friendly and let me know what my next steps are: dress fittings are typically done 6-8 weeks before the wedding date to allow for multiple fittings and in case some complicated modifications are necessary. I'm looking forward to my first fitting appointment in a few months!

I would definitely recommend checking out Angela's Bridal if you're looking for a wedding dress or a bridesmaid's dress!

My daughter's dress was too small when it came in, even though she wears a size 0 in most other dresses. The seamstress took it up from the shoulders and made it even worse. After 4 fittings and a rather specific email about our displeasure with our experience, we were assured that everything would be fine. All of my concerns came to pass on the wedding day. The buttons came undone several times. The bustle fell apart during their first dance. There were loose strings all over the bodice that no one bothered to check. We went to 9 bridal salons and waited over a month for this appointment. I have had 2 daughters get married in the past 6 months and our first experience was perfection. I do not live in the Albany area, but the second bride does. I would suggest looking in Saratoga or other areas because I could never recommend this bridal salon.

I loved my experience here. I highly recommend this shop to ANY bride looking for a dress. Great selection, excellent customer service. I think they remember every bride who comes in, no matter how long it's been since you've been there. It was a very personal and positive experience. Make this your first stop for your dress!!! It will be worth it!!
