Super cute atmosphere and I had a good latte BUT the staff sucked. Rude. Not helpful. Didn’t go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Didn’t even greet us when we walked in. They didn’t even speak to each other. Maybe a bad day? Either way, hire some friendly baristas.
Nice and cozy place to chill out. They have a wide variety of loose-leaf tea, probably 40 different types! And they are all worth trying
Great selection of coffee and the espresso is terrific! Small but tastey locally made baked goods are usually available. They also have almond milk as a dairy substitute for those with dairy sensitivities.
I have traveled quite a bit, and have had coffee around the world. I hold Angel Falls as a standard to good coffee. They have a great selection of bulk coffee & roast their beans in house. They also have a delicious selection of loose leaf teas. The service is quick. Great place!
Angel Falls Coffee has been a Highland Square landmark for twenty years. Stay for an hour or three in cozy chairs and enjoy the coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. My favorite drink is the Vulcan De Provence--a hot chocolate with real strained chocolate, lavender, and whipped cream. The pastries are delicious and baked fresh on site. Convenient location, late weekend hours, on the bus line, showcases local artists.
Good coffee, great service and a nice coffee shop. My only issue is I wish there were more private areas to sit. It gets quite loud sometimes and it turns into more of a social space instead of a working environment. Angel Falls might be going for the social coffee shop vibe, and if so then they are doing a good job.
Like everyone says It's great if you get the right employee. They make espresso drinks beautifully with amazing designs and ask how you are. If you have one of the rude employees they make you feel ignorant or unwanted. I swear they make espresso drinks bad on purpose. Which sucks since they are twice the price of a coffee. I will start making sure to only order regular coffee when they work now. It's a hit or miss and unfortunately the rude ones normal work in the mornings Sigh. If service was more consistent, it would be the best little coffee shop around. Thank you so much to the employees that make me feel like family and make beautiful, delicious drinks.
The in-house baker has a wonderful selection of pastries that you can enjoy with your brew. The beans are carefully selected and roasted. I'm not a coffee drinke,r but the aromas are most pleasing. Friends and family who are coffee loves comment on the tastes and flavored beverages.
The atmosphere is relaxing and easy to meet new friends. However, some of the staff are so rude and act like they don't want to be there while some are very arrogant. They have some they cater too while others are left wondering why "did I bother to come her" Coffee is average but pastries are excellent.
SCARY PLACE. Would not go in here unless you like the Comet Pizza vibe. Cold coffee, tense atmosphere, BAD SERVICE. They lied to me about giving me a refund for a cold coffee that I went back to return, all they did was cancel the order.
Nice little coffee shop just a short jaunt from the UA campus. They have a really nice selection of tea, and you can get a pot of it (which can be shared!) for next to nothing. The customer service is just okay, nothing stellar. Just be aware that the culture of the place is to share tables with people you don't know (as there isn't all that much seating during busy times).
This place is amazing!! My favorite coffee shop in Akron. Any coffee you get is amazing and they have really good sweets.
