    Had an accident, insurance agents were very helpful and on point with my case. It was clearly not my fault and my rate didn't go up!

    I would give 0 stars if possible. There's bad and then there's Anchor General. They look for any excuse to not pay a claim. I was in an accident where their insured was at fault. I filed a claim and their representatives were the worst I've ever seen in any business.

    It took Irene Berridge 2 months to finally call me back. I filed a claim on Sept 22 and finally got a call on Nov 15th that they were denying the claim because they couldn't get a hold of their insured. I called her numerous times in those 2 months and she never returned my call. Her supervisors, Kyle Huckleberry and Everett Dealy were just as bad.

    The company is built with the intent to defraud people. Now I have a totalled car with a letter of denial because "they can't get a hold of their insured". Shadiest company ever. You've been warned!

    Jaclyn Vann, my Claims Examiner is expedient, friendly, and extremely helpful. I recently got into a collision and heard undesirable things about Anchor General, but, so far, I've had a good experience. Customer service has been very supportive.

    Customer service is horrible. Every time I called to know any updates of my claim, no one would answer the phone. I sent them an e-mail and they took 6 days to reply. They also took 2 months to send me my check from my deductible. If you call on a Monday, be sure that NO ONE will ever answer your call and you will be on hold for 30min+. When you get the chance to talk to a representative later in the week, they will tell you that Mondays and Tuesdays are their busiest days, but they never return your call anyway.

    Their CLAIM department is the WORSE!! I've called Ramon Beltran and his supervisor over 6 times, left messages for 3 days straight. How are you going to contact my family member and tell them it's URGENT I call you back, when you NEVER are available or return phone calls?
    Meanwhile here I am receiving letters in the mail on this so called " collision claim". My vehicle has never even been in an accident...owell here I am on day 4 leaving 2 voicemails to Ramons line.

    I was in a car accident in February and by April they closed my case. I do remember saying I wanted full coverage and they did not do so, which left me car-less for 3 months. They did their part though as an insurance company and dealing with the accident. I am yet to see my rate go up.

    UPDATE: I switched to another insurance company after my second accident when some distracted driver hit me. I found out that he was uninsured finding and this company took off my uninsured motorist part of my insurance without my knowledge which as far as I know everyone should have uninsured motorist unless you sign a document stating otherwise. When I asked to see that paper that proved I signed off on that they would not show me anything and say it was sent out to their main office and after multiple calls and attempts to get them to show me all they could say was that it must have gotten misplaced and that they would call me back. Point is they never called and I was left with nothing. They cheat you out of your money, insurance is supposed to protect you in cases like this which they didn't.

    Called to file a claim was on hold for 15 minutes until talked to a representative. The representative I talked about my accident she tend to cut me off multiple times while I was explaining my accident and if she didn't feel like she understand me she will raise her voice asking the question again and before we hung up the phone she rush into saying her good by greetings before I can said anything else. Two days later I received a called from the claim examiner and I just missed by a few minutes and so I called back but no answer so I was suggesting that he was busy with other people. But through out the day I called &left tons of voicemail for him & no call back. The next day I called back during his work hours there was still no answer from him & also left more messages for him but no response. What kind of stupid insurance does not help their clients who been with them for 5 years and does not help them at all. I am guessing they are only there to collect your payments but when accidents happens they disappear like ghosts. I was too stupid to buy stupid cheap insurance but now I know better. FOR WHOEVER WANTS TO INSURE WITH ANCHOR GENERAL I PEFER YOU NOT TO AT ALL. TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE IT'S WORTH IT.

    Worst insurance policy I ever had. Customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. Someone in this horrible company needs to get it together. My money is being thrown in the garbage

    Stay AWAY. I never write reviews but this company deserves every bad review they get. I was in an accident. I was not at fault. Anchor contacted the people that hit me insurance and told them they had fixed my car. Which was completely untrue. Won't return calls to me or my lawyer. And tried to charge me and send me to collection for unused premium. When a payment of mine did not go through I went to go REINSTATE the policy. However without my knowledge, because I'm not up to date with insurance, they started me a NEW policy. Just a scram all the way around. I actually got double the coverage for 30$ more elsewhere thank god.

    If I would of called and had CHAKA GULLEY (CSR) answered I would of had an extremely pleasant customer service experience. Within 5 minutes she assisted and had sent me the documentation I needed. I give her a 5 star!!GIVE THIS GIRL A RAISE! However my first (CSR) was Andy. He was rude from the beginning of the phone call,( you may be loosing customers due to him) 30 min I was on the phone him arguing due to the fact he was so disrespectful, then when I requested his Supervisor he attitude changed. He has informed me that the company did not have the information I needed that I would need to call my Broker. I had informed him I moved out of state because he told me to come down to the company and basically fix my issues in person. Then he said that he had the information and that it would take 7 to 10 business days for him to even receive a request for my documentation ...What an awful representative for this company. needs to get replaced asap

    omg run like the wind , 3 acciedents an average of 2 months to get a resoution started and still havenrt finished dealing with them on first accident, they sdrew you every chance they can , hang up onm you threaten you,screen calls, charged for parts not needing repair in order to dcharge you a bettermenrt fee on top the decuctable , tried to total out my car and add costs not needed in order to total out a vehicle that i spoent 80 bucks repairing out mu own money because theys o solow and car is fine, they had me infveestigated by 2 private investigatiors twice but unkike then=m im squeaky clean reporrted to bbb and dept of insurance they are under investigation as far as i know

    This company is the worst company ever, worse customer service, always over charging me, I wish there was less than 0 star so I could give to this terrible company. And I wish the government shutdown anchor general. Please never do any business with this company because you will suffer and regret a lot

    Most UNETHICAL Insurance company ever! Unresponsive, does not pay claims. $10,000 dollars in damages & loss of use since July 25, 2016. FILE CLAIM with California Department of Insurance! Report to BBB.

    This company sucks run for your life. Don't use this company I totally regret it. My car just sits and they don't even return my calls. Ill probably file a better business bureau complaint
