Best coffee in town no question. Wonderful menu from the pastries and the coconut macaroons (my favorite) and the amazing salads (love the Cobb and a different take on dill blue cheese dressing). Seating in the back has a wonderful view great for relaxing and enjoying a good book along with the wonderful food and coffee.

Cosy little café with an amazing view over the river! Good bakery but the coffee is not the best and the staff doesn't always feel that professional.

The only place that makes decent espresso in Brattleboro. Sit in back for a great view of the river. Great sandwiches. Lovely pastries, and HUGE slices of cake.

The service was great and the food was good. My main complaint was the dining area to the rear was filthy. There was inches of dust and crud on the air conditioner and the lighting fixtures. The walls were filthy and the ceilings had cobwebs everywhere with insects caught in them. It was pretty clear this room had not been cleaned all summer. I felt dirty when I left

A fresh croissant 🥐, right out of the oven when Amy's opens at 8am, is the best pastry on this side of the Atlantic. Recently has been a bit more hit or miss, but the hits still outnumber the misses.

Poor service, ordered a hot chocolate for $4.50, got steamed milk with a teaspoon of liquid chocolate. Even though it was steamed it was still cold and tasted like milk.

Excellent brownie. Big enough and rich enough to share for 2. The carrot cake is quite good if you are a nut lover. Coffee was bold.

It's never a good idea for a bakery to sell old, dry cake. They don't go to much effort to keep it fresh. Better to stick with the almond croissants, which are gone by 10am.

Homemade baked goods, soups and sandwiches. A favorite for locals and tourists alike. If there is a line, be patient, it moves quickly and is worth the wait. In a pinch for time and or money? Try the 75 cent organic hard-boiled eggs!
