Dr Burr is a fantastic vet! I've been with him for years. Wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

Have taken my animals to Dr Burr for years. Top notch Dr. Very knowledgeable. Staff is friendly and concerned about the care of the little patience that come in. I have 5 cats and Dr. Burr remembers all of their names. I highly recommend Ammon Veterinary Hospital

This review is about boarding. They take great care of the dogs, I have no complaints about that. My issue is with how they handle fees for boarding. We had an unexpected trip over a short weekend and checked our dog in very late in the day on a Friday. We returned late Saturday, after the kennel had closed. The only options for pick-up on Sunday are to be there at 8:00 am, sharp or 5:00 pm sharp. Because we weren't able to be at there for the 8:00 am pickup, we were charged an extra day. So, our dog stayed for less than 48 hours, only 2 nights and we were charged for 3 days. We even brought our own food for him. If this was our first boarding experience, maybe I would just think this is normal. But it's not, we have boarded at 3 other kennels, including one in Utah, we've never had a situation like this when picking up on the weekend. Plus, the other kennels offer more options for picking up on the weekends and don't charge for an extra day simply because they can't have their staff there at more flexible times for people to be able to pick up their pets. If the deadline for not charging an extra day is 11:00 am, then the pickup time offered on Sundays should be 11:00 am, not 8:00 am! Also, the customer should be told they will be charged for an extra day if they pickup later. My husband dropped off our dog and this was not explained to him, we looked at the bill and were trying to figure it out. And, they really need to have a window for picking up the dogs. We were told if we were there 5 minutes late (we had to be there at either 8:00 am sharp or 5:00 pm sharp!), we wouldn't be able to pick up our dog (what a great way to get paid another day!) Anyway, I'm sure they are very nice people, but that's nickel and diming your customers and it's not a great way to get repeat customers, for sure.

Great staff who knows their stuff and are great with animals. Taken my dog in since I adopted her from a shelter and they were able to handle her when she was still violent and irrational (just after I first got her, she's since been through training). Also familiar with the various training, grooming, and daycare facilities about town and can give advice about what would be best for your pet as well as which areas are currently having trouble with pet diseases such as dog cough and should be avoided if possible. They always follow up after any visit and welcome phone calls and questions.

Dr. Burr and Dr. Miller are both compassionate, thorough, and very competent vets. The staff is friendly and professional. When our dogs boarded there in December, the receptionist even sent us a photo of our dogs, to assure my kids that our pups were happy.

I love Ammon Vet. All of the people there are wonderful. We have never had any problem, my animals have always been treated special and loved. We have had to put down two of our loved ones and the people sit right with you and cry too. That is love in any shape and form. Thank you so much for being great people.

I have had only wonderful experiences at Ammon Vet. Both Dr. Burr and Dr. Miller have helped my dog so much. They are great for routine and preventive care, and they have also really gone above and beyond to help us out in emergency situations. The Vet Techs and office staff are all kind and helpful. The place is always clean.

The entire atmosphere is just really nice. When I'm stressed out and worried that there is something wrong with my pet, this is the type of atmosphere I need. Everyone is kind and pleasant, and they really seem to care about the animals for whom they care. I recommend Ammon Vet to everyone I know who belongs to an animal.

Taken my dog here ever since I got him, and this place is great! I've never had to wait for them to get me in, they're always very prompt and very professional. They're very quick with whatever they have to do and I've never had to be in there more than 25 minutes no matter what the problem was. Staff and Doctor are all very kind and happy and I love that. I would recommend to everybody! They're awesome!

The vet and his back staff are wonderful. However, the front desk leaves a lot to be desired. Our dog had to have emergency surgery on a Monday. They knew he was having surgery and did not tell us until the surgery was done, how much it was, nor that it was required all up front. We were between paychecks and didn't have the almost $700 to pay for it. I asked if I could make payments and she said NO! It was so embarrassing as our daughter was visiting from out of town and heard the whole thing. My daughter ended up paying for it.

Ammon Veterinary Hospital has been amazing to work with. I had two separate visits that left me feeling comforted and confident in the expertise of the entire staff. They fit me in immediately both times. They are kind, courteous, knowledgeable and very supportive. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone needing care (immediate and long term) for their fur baby. Thank you for seeing my fur kids on short notice and taking time and showing kindness and concern.
