Did not receive all of our order. The ice cream desert was placed on top of the hot dinners, not in a separate bag. I’ve never written a review before, but felt compelled to share this experience. Was not satisfied.
Great place! Chicken could have used some more flavor but the environment and price were wonderful! I’ve have been back multiple times and the service is consistent. One of the best places to eat out on the water in Chattanooga area. Highly recommended on all aspects.
We boated over from Soddy Creek for the first time this past Sunday. We made sure we got there around 3:00 as we brought our dog and needed outdoor seating suitable for all. We were seated at a great table in the shade and away from foot traffic. The food was probably the best Mexican we have had in a while. We had 5 Entrees, chips with cheese dip and 3 adult top shelf adult beverages. We couldn’t believe the tab was only a little over $80. We will definitely be doing this quite often!! It is a busy place as the food is magnificent. Time your trip accordingly like we did.
If you are in serious need of a place to chill and forget the workday, enjoy a drink and good Mexican food, then head to Amigoes at Island Cove Marina. There is no better way to unwind than to sit outside overlooking the water while enjoying a good meal. For starters, try the avacado bacon cheese dip. Everything is better with bacon and this dip does not skimp on chunks of smoky bacon, ensuring every dipful is flavorful. This restaurant does not skimp on portions, either as each dish is enough for two meals. I had the jalisco Quesidalla, which has grilled onions, mushrooms, spinach, and tomatoes with melted cheese wrapped in a wheat tortilla and served with sour cream, guacamole and Pico. I liked being able to choose a vegetarian dish that is not made with refried beans. This is a very kid friendly place with a kid's menu, booster seats and a staff that takes kids messes in stride. Our server was amazing and our food came out quickly.
This place is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the Ooltewah area. Especially between spring and fall so you can sit out and enjoy the views of the boat docks at sunset. Their sauce is better than most and I always get the steak soggy tacos. Only issue tonight (-1 star) were that the chips were a little stale and the cheese dip came out luke warm. Other than that great place and I will be returning again.
