Stayed at the Great Frontier as a last minute get away for the weekend. Everything was just as it was advertised. Enjoyed the peace and quiet and the hot tub.

We stayed in the great frontier. The cabin was very clean and cute!! We had a great stay and the location is perfect, it is within 15 min of everything!!! I was really nervous to stay after reading the mixed reviews but I am glad we did!!!

Awesome experience! We stayed at the Freedom Cabin and had an absolutely lovely time. They really do have everything you need right there in the cabin for a comfortable stay. It was very clean as well. Any issues we had (which were trivial and not at the fault of the owners) were fixed with a simple phone call. I have stayed in different cabins at Hocking Hills in the past and I can say I will choose this one every time over the others, which were overpriced for basically the same comfort level. Very near all the sites as well, you won't drive more than 15 minutes to get to the caves. Highly recommend!

We stayed in the Great Frontier Cabin and we had a great experience. The cabin was beautiful, very clean, and very private. I would recommend this cabin to anyone staying in Hocking Hills. The only thing I would mention is that the water is very hard, and to bring bottled drinking water for your stay.

We stayed at the Freedom cabin in September of this year (2016). It was more than we expected. The only thing you need to bring is you. It was clean (and I'm OCD, I check everything), had everything you would need even a fly swatter (which wasn't needed). It's close to all the sites. This cabin was private and the grounds were well maintained. The only issue for me was the well water and my over highlighted hair. Ladies watch that. But it was worth the added hair appointments. I can't wait to go back. I can't say enough about this place. We travel quite a bit and I've seen things at overpriced places. This was TOP!!

We stayed at The Great Frontier. I am having a difficult time thinking of anything positive to write. We arrived around 8pm. Unloaded and pulled down comforter on bed and there were piles of mice poop everywhere on the bed. It was absolutely disgusting. Once we got sheets off bed, we finally got situated. In middle of night, we were both woken up by mice on the counters getting into our food. We even had a mouse run into the bathroom in front of us. There were ants everywhere. We were afraid to cook. The measuring cups were very dirty. Then later we got in the hot tub and a huge wasp nest was by the tub swarming around us. My guess is the cabin has been empty for awhile and noone is doing any upkeep.
I have stayed in many different cabins at Hocking Hills. This by far was the worse place. We payed $175 per night. It isn't worth $75 per night. So what I am saying is it's not like it was an inexpensive place to stay.
I would NOT recommend anyone to rent this cabin.

Had a fun girls hiking getaway. The cabin was gorgeous and was clean. I would definitely stay here again. It is close to all the parks and attractions. The owner was very flexible and friendly. I even brought my dog as well. No complaints. Just loved our stay at Red Pine.
