I went through the Medical Billing and Coding course. I really liked my teacher but other than that I would never recommend anyone to take that course. Everything that is done in class has nothing do to with the real world. If hired anywhere for Billing you learn there at the job and if you were hired there were high expectations, which we had no experience in. The Coding part of the course was not what is on the CPC test which you need to take to be a certified Coder. I did really good in class but when I went to take the exam I failed both times. Don't wast your time or money. I wish I would have read the reviews before going there. Now I'm looking for a job in a different job class.

This was a waste of money. I finished in 2009, and never got a job as an M.A.

First of all, I signed up in November, right before the prices went up. But the classes didn't start until Dec. They ended up pushing the date to January. About 3 months in, I looked at my paper work. They had charged me the higher rate. I went to the financial office. They said they would change it, and didn't give me my money back. (I was making payments for the part the loan didn't cover) They said they would apply it to my loan. Of course, they never did. Checked with my loan company, when I started making payments. Never could get it figured out. So basically, they stole money from me.

We changed instructors 4 times. At one point, we didn't even have an instructor, for a week and a half. Changed classrooms several times. It was so disorganized. Who can learn like that?? I feel like I didn't learn a thing. It was very stressful. They don't even teach a single computer program class. Or any medical programs. ONLY typing speed.

Most of the teaching is ONLY what was going to be on the test. They basically told us the questions on the test, and told us to study that. The education was the worst I could possibly imagine.

Finally finished. When it came time for my internship, the guy who was supposed to arrange it said he was having a hard time placing people. 2 weeks later, he calls me to tell me to go to a clinica medica. (Knowing I don't know Spanish). I show up to my internship. They have no idea I'm coming. Turns out, another intern had set it up! They say, 90 percent of their patients do not speak English, and I wouldn't be able to do anything.

I call the guy at ACC and he acts like it's my fault, and says, well just to go back in, because that's all there is. I ended up finding my own! They offered 0 help in finding a job as well.

I keep in contact with 4 girls from my class. Not one of us ever worked as an M.A. This school is unorganized, liars, and unprofessional!

I just class completed and im waiting to start my extern but i had a great experience at this school my instructor was awesome everyone was always helpful and i would recommend this school to everyone

In going to visit the school and talking to the financial department they were very rushy, and didn't answer any of my questions. Then told me to go home and figure it out and to schedule an appointment. She kept look at the clock like saying get out of here. She was so arrogant. That's all I have to say for now.

I graduated the ultrasound program in 07 when they were still in Norco, worst school ever, what a waste of $27,000. I feel like I got ripped off, they never helped with job placement they had absolutely no connections in the field, they would take job leads from current students and give them to current graduates because they had nothing to help students find jobs. the training was sub par people who never studied or even had a clue would pass the module and this was odd to me until one day I witness students retaking test and the frustrated teacher was literally giving them the answers to pass, because its all about money to them. don't waste your time or money go to traditional college its longer but at least you get a degree.

I loved it while I attended. Due to health reasons I wasn't able to do my externship hours until a year later. I attended graduation Feb. 2016. However I'm upset because until this day I have not received my certificate. I called and went in person and nothing. It's upsetting because after everything I went through to finish and graduate and not receive my certificate is disappointingI guess I need to start bugging them again.

Optical technician course.
Don't recommend. I began ACC thinking it was absolutely amazing and my teacher was BUT As soon as I got into my externship portion everything went down hill. They were so unorganized and inconsiderate. I had gained a full time management position in the field before beginning my extern and when it came down to it, they refused to let me do my extern where i worked. They told me I had to step down in positions and only do part time at my job and finish my extern in order to graduate. I couldn't give up the opportunity my job had given me so they just told me I had no other option which led to me dropping out and missing my COLLEGE GRADUATION. Very disappointed that that's what I paid all that money for, even my family was upset, they all looked forward to attending my graduation. I expected more.

This is a school for people who really want to work in the field they choose, it's not for those that are trying to take a short cut or the easy way out. It's a fast paced school with accelerated programs, it's requires diligence and discipline. The ones that hate the rules or the dress code need to realize that it's only prep for when we're done and need to be professional.

I did the Vocational Nursing program full time, and I can tell you it takes a lot of work and a lot of personal time. The instructors can only go so much in class, to do well you need to use your own time. Read ahead so you know what they're talking about. Studying it's just for the upcoming test, the topic that are given to us are to use an another human being, understand the material, one day you could be the deciding factor of someone's life.

This a GREAT school if you know what you want. Are there hard times and misunderstandings? Of course there are, we're all just human. The staff really works hard to get you were you want to be, but it takes both sides.

I am now an Honors Graduate from the Vocational Nursing Program, I have taken my State Boards and passed them, and I have interviews to work in the field I choose in a little over a year.
