What can I say? The rooms are clean and comfortable and the pricing is reasonable. My only complaint is that the hot tub doesn’t seem well maintained. But usually when you stay at a hotel you are there to sleep. If you wanted the hotel for the hot tub, don’t go here. If you just need a place to crash for the night and not looking to spend a lot on hotel arrangements this place isn’t bad for the money. 👍
Clean. Quiet. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because both mattresses in my room were hard as rocks. And I had no microwave in my room. But for the right price I would stay again.
Upon entering our non smoking room we were hit with a heavy smell of smoke. This was the last room on the first floor. We were not able to switch to a room on the second floor since there is no elevator and we have a daughter in a wheelchair. We tried to stay in the room but as the evening went on the smoke was hindering our breathing. We asked for a refund so we could check out and find another hotel to sleep for the evening. The front desk employee was very nice but had us speak to the manager Nick for approval of the refund. Nick was rude, talking over my husband and yelling at him. He was very argumentative and not seeking resolution. He even went as far to say that we were lying. We have stayed at this location multiple times in the past and we will not stay there again.
I stayed there in Oct., 2017. Customer service was very good. Although the cost is low, I still have expectations and the physical elements of the hotel left things to be desired. The carpet felt yucky and the bottoms of my CLEAN white socks were black after walking on the carpet a bit. The little arm chair had filthy upholstery - enough so I didn't want to sit in it. Cleanliness in bathroom could have been MUCH better. Black mold stuff at bottom of water handle in tub. Tub didn't drain - water well - water up over ankles during shower. Bed was made haphazardly, the mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. The blanket under the spread (appeared to be down alternative) was also lumpy and I had to provide my own from my car. NO ELEVATOR, even though I was told there was one when I made the reservation. Luckily, I was on the 1st floor! On the plus side: there were a small fridge and microwave - both of which were unexpected. I asked if they had them when I made the reservation, and was told no. Don't plan on staying again if I can avoid it!
We stayed one night September 2017. The room was clean, the receptionist was so nice and the next day we realized my friend had left her earrings she had had for 45 years and meant a lot to her. They've offered to mail them to her and she'll see them again! So nice! We highly recommend!
Rooms and beds are adequate and in good repair. Indoor pool and spa was clean and appeared well maintained. The facility lacks a guest laundry and has some issues with providing fresh towels, not sure if a staffing problem or a fluke, but everything else was fine.
Quiet clean hotel with friendly staff. AmericInn Salina is located right off I-135 and is very close to the historic downtown. Our rooms were clean and spacious, the beds soft and comfortable resulting in a good night's sleep all around. So much so that we overslept and missed the complimentary hot breakfast. The Inn has a very popular in door pool and hot tub, a nice family lounge area and excellent gratis wifi.
Clean rooms. Clean bathrooms. Biscuits for breakfast were hot and fresh. A little off the highway past the trashy motels. The room was cheaper here than at the first few motels and worth every penny. Pleasant staff.
For the price range this hotel is great! Nice breakfast options, but I do wish they had sausage/eggs. The make your own waffle station is very neat! The pool is on the smaller side, and the site we booked at didn't say anything about a hot tub so that was an unexpected bonus! The rooms are fairly clean, though one of the two we booked does not have very good water pressure. The staff is friendly and we are enjoying our stay.
Basic breakfast but well stocked & attended. Room fully met my expectations. Microwave and refrigerator were clean and made my stay very convenient. Good fixtures and furniture for this price range.
The rooms were clean and didn't have that typical hotel smell. The lobby was beautiful and cozy with plenty of refreshments available, even during non-breakfast hours.
It's okay. Best value of any of the other hotels in the area, but it is lacking when it comes to the standards expected of the AmericInn Brand, rooms have new furniture and sink, but really needs more. The carpet is old and should be replaced. The pool area, and bathrooms are outdated and need an renovation. Breakfast was okay, they don't have much hot food only, waffles, biscuits and gravy and breakfast sandwiches, I was expecting some sausage or ham and scrambled eggs, needs more protein, fruit was a little old and could have been fresher. I did like the blueberries to top the waffles, an excellent choice. Overall, it's an okay stay but has a few things to work on to meet the standards of AmericInn.
We are driving from Alabama to Utah. Compared to the other place we stayed in this place was nice. The staff are nice too. I am not happy with the tiny pillows on a king size bed. The place was clean. We wanted to take shower and to our surprise the water was luke warm. We called the from desk and they had the maintenance man working on it. I give this place an A for getting us hot water in less than two hours. I was pleased that they fixed it and made sure we were able to shower. The hot tub was not hot either but I didn't say anything about it. The breakfast was ok. I'm not a fan of biscuits and gravy. But the waffles were good. I would stay again.
Down fall for this place is no elevator.
Stopped for the night after driving for almost 4 days, and we're pleasantly surprised at the price and the good reviews and have to say it is a good place to stay for the night!
The room is clean, and modern, there's a fridge and microwave, and comfy beds.
The staff is very friendly and there was hot breakfast, biscuits and waffles, all though we would have liked if there was some sort of protein like eggs, bacon, or sausage.
The only issue is the upstairs hallway does have a mildew-y smell, but no where else has a smell so we don't mind as we're not sleeping in the hall.
Overall it's a nice hotel, especially for the price.
