This was a pleasant experience when I went to see the new Blade Runner movie. I have to admit the sound was up really high n could have been turned down a notch or two to achieve the same effect. I thought it could have been a little distorted during the high bass portions mostly.

Easy to get self serve tickets, but was not able to choose a seat at this time.

Warning to European visitors: IMAX screen size is equal or very close to standard screen size in several EU countries (Kinepolis). Also, it’s incredibly loud! I downloaded a decibel meter on my iPhone and it said up to 105 dB, which can actually damage your hearing, so i would advise to bring earplugs...my ears were hurting so I left after 10 mins, not kidding. In light of all the above, big disappointment. 2 stars for friendly staff

I went to see Thor: Ragnarok and my experience was a poor one. I was in theater 20 and compared to other theaters... Theater 20 had a poor sound system, poor seats which were uncomfortable and are not big people friendly, and the screen the dim! This place feels very outdated and needs to be updated!

Aside from the actual movie experience, i have no complaints.

In the last two months the service at this movie theatre has been excellent. I commend the staff for doing and excellent job. I enjoy this location and I hope that AMC understand that I enjoy patronizing this location.

Though food can be a bit pricey this theatre is the most comfortable of the AMCs in San Diego with the best location. If you're wanting to see the next big movie coming out this theatre has the best activity and crowds. The staff are also very pleasant and good at their jobs. And although the food is pricey that is not to say it is not worth it because everything is delicious for what your'e getting at a theatre (the chicken tenders in particular are SUPER good). Even if you don't live around the Mission area I'd say it's better to go to this AMC theatre than any other in San Diego.

Everyone that works here are friendly and helpful. The only thing that is not perfect is hearing sound effects from the movie next door.

Great theatre with comfortable seats. They have the best hot dogs! Awesome IMAX theatre.

Consistently good service, good location, plenty of movies to see and multiple viewing options (Dolby, 3-d, IMAX). Good selection of concessions items as well. Enough bathrooms to not stand in line long and it's in the middle of a shopping center, so plenty to do before or after. My only wish is that the chairs would lean back and be cleaned more frequently.

A good theatre but movie tickets are expensive. I think they need to lower the prices a little bit for a regular ticket. I love the seats because I always mostly sit in the front.

I call this review "How to score free movie tickets, the wrong way!"

To start, I'll say the obvious: movies are awesome! So what better way to start the year than to watch Doctor Strange with the family? We chose this theater because the screen is high quality and I consider it a (questionably) fair trade off to the high ticket price and old seats. So far so good!

But get this: the theater's policy is that you can't save your seat fifty minutes in advance by placing a random belonging (read: shirt) there. No big deal; everyone knows this.

Which leads to my disappointment with this place in particular. And the staff who managed the following situation: As the movie is gearing to start, some guy shows up to where we're seated and complains about having saved the spots we're occupying (reminder: this isn't your kid's graduation) and shines his smartphone flashlight at us, saying he won't go until we find somewhere else to sit (unless I want to "take this outside". What is this, a dive bar?) No loud voices (thank goodness), just some respectfully contained harassment! Did I mention we arrived twenty minutes before showtime? If there's anything left over from the last showing, it's presumedly abandoned.

Long story short, we move over to a less desirable location because it's the decent thing to do. I mean, why cause a scene? Although it sure isn't the experience we paid $40 for.

So we scored those gnarly comp tickets, right? Wrong!

    But guess who did.

I love this theatre! Sure the food is overpriced, just like any other theatre. This place always offers the widest variety of movies, from kids to mature audiences. Additionally, it's location offers you the option to catch dinner, lunch etc before or after the movies. As well as, if one opts for valet or detail service, they also are available. Enjoy, go to the movies!!

Great place to catch a flix. Centrally located and close to lots of restaurants and hotels. Service are standard for a movie theater. They offer IMAX and 3D as well as regular viewing experience.

Love this theatre. Great location, lots of parking. Clean, excellent staff. Great IMAX theatre. Movie selection is generally fantastic. Food and snacks are somwhat expensive so eat before you go to the movies. Otherwise a great place to visit for a movie night out.

Great movie theater, relatively clean, over priced food but good quality, as well as tickets but the seats are great you don't have to look at someones head the whole time and the theaters are big. Staff is always friendly and willing to help. They are very caring to problems or concerns, I had a problem with my screening and told guest services they took care of it for me right away and gave me passes. All you have to do is tell guest services people its not that hard. Anyways, it makes me laugh reading the negative reviews because clearly people don't know how a movie theater works or why they can't wait one minute for them to fix something. But hey humans are stupid. Overall, Great movie theater! The stubs program is awesome and if you're a constant movie go-er like me I'd recommend signing up! The only problem I have with this theater are how uncomfortable the seats can be but I give it 5 stars!
