Great place to live, good location minutes from the city but anything you could possibly need is also right down the street. Good service and management. Would definitely recommend.
If I had to do my stay in Chattanooga all over again it would not be at Amberleigh Ridge. Lackadaisical staff and the lease agreement is close to outright robbery. Basically shysters hiding behind paperwork. What they do may be "technically legal" it is highly unethical. If you choose to stay here read your lease agreement very carefully and make sure you have a lawyer review it as well. They will try to charge you fees even after you leave the property. They also claim these are luxury apartments, but the interiors are cheaply manufactored. I was told that we would receive laminate flooring, but it turned out to be plank vinyl flooring. Plugging in my iron doing laundry caused the whole house to dim. The dishwasher continually leaked as well as the bathtub. Did I call maintenance? Yes. Did they fix these issues? No. They basically tried to put bandaids on major problems. Worst experience ever. Dog poop everywhere and forget about the little dog park. Just a large pile of poop to step in. No parking and a clueless staff on the simplest of tasks/questions. I know this sounds like someone who is just angry and I am, but I am also shooting it straight. If I could I would give them 0 stars mostly because I believe they are crooks.
This is a GREAT PLACE to live. I've lived and owned a house since the early 1980's in Chicago and Marietta, Ga. Becky, Janet and the rest of the staff and maintenance staff are the best. My wife and I have lived here for the past year and decided to renew our lease for another year and a half and took out a lease for a second unit so I could work next door to my home. I look out and have a fantastic view of the valley and the eastern mountain ridge of Chattanooga. For a month I've had the greatest fall changing of colors in the valley and Eastern Ridge. A great pool, work out facility and clubhouse.
Moved from buckhead, GA to this apartment for one month.
Is it overpriced? A little compared to nearby apartments.
Is it really that fancy and luxury? Lived in luxury apartments in Buckhead and familiar with luxury ones in Silicon Valley, I think it is not impressive at all.
But one has to be fair, I think this is quite good in Chattanooga, if one's wish is live at a good apartment in convenient location.
Things I want to point out
1. Drop and pick-up dry clean:
Leasing office claimed it has this. But when I tried to use it, I was told they don't have an associated dry cleaner and thus cannot do it.
2. Free vacuum
One gets to pay 75 cents for vacuum that is next to car care center.
I do not understand why. Even not-so-luxury apartments in Atlanta let residents use vacuum for free. Maybe I was improperly complaining because it is a Chattanooga thing. I just do not know.
3.the gym is not fancy at all.
Selection of equipment is quite few
Only basic equipment
But they do offer towels, one plus.
Water is not offered in gym and is offered next to coffee machine. So no water out of business hour of leasing office.
4. Coffee and all the daily desserts are nice.
Muffins, cookies and etc.
but they are not open out of business hours of leasing office
5. Bathroom and painting in apartments are not upscale at all. Not as good as the kitchen. Do check them, do not be fooled by kitchen.
6. View is beautiful
Love to walk around and enjoy views from the hills
7. car care center
good
8. A lot of kids
A lot of kids around. They occupy business center's computers during weekends. I am curious and do not understand what is particularly good about businesses center's computers.
9. A dog park, one fire place and one pool
Never used dog park but it is there
Fire place is nice but kids occupy them during weekends.
Pool has some insects. But it is inevitable due to it is an open pool. I do not blame anyone. Pool is not warmed.
10. Grill place
Grill machines needs more frequent cleaning
11. Staff are good
Just wonderful.
Overall I am satisfied. One cannot expect a perfect world. I am willing to forget small flaws.
Luxury ??? EVERY NIGHT constant bass through the walls. You can hear the conversation next door. Kitchen granite is nice bathrooms are poor construction and materials. Had maintenance enter my apartment without prior knowledge of air filter change. Cigarette butts all over stairs and walkways. Parking is horrible
Pay my rent on timethought I was paying for a luxury style living in February. This may sound harsh but 6 months of music revibing until 6am makes one upset
